Wtf happened to the offensive line and the defense. So many fourth and longs. Between pressures and drops Wentz did what he could.

4th and 15 with the game on the line and somehow the defense doesn't expect a 16 yard out run. Sigh. They were lucky to even have a chance at a tie after the massive drop and misthrow by Mariota in OT.

Also feels like they got DOUGed. Going for it on 4th and 2 in OT was 100% the right call. Sucks to be on the other side of that.

I expected the defense to take a slight step back this year. No Jernigan or Patrick Robinson, both of whom were great last year. Fine.

But the OL, wtf. Lane Johnson specifically. I did not see this coming.

I just remember him godgersing down the field + not letting the defense make subs, whereas this year its all i-formation lets wait for the clock to get to 00 before snapping it

Well, there was a lot of slowdown after they had a good lead.

I was overall very happy, although it seemed like he had a few wobbler passes that worked out. Also the across-his-body td pass was more lucky than good. I don't want to see a lot more of that.

Across his body throw was luck? No. He's done that several times, he has the arm strength to pull it off and doesn't throw many picks.

Thas was sickening. I'm still raging on the inside. What was that tackling, what were these hero throws at the end, when we had more than a minute to go 22 yards with two timeouts left. What was that coverage. This blows. The team looked so improved, so much in the grove over three quarters, and then pissed it all away in the fourth. Sickening.

Man that time the Eagles had a half-decent secondary was fun. I’ll never forget those 6 months.

Defense currently has too many injuries. Playing 2 guys off practice squad at defensive tackle. Signed a guy off the street last tuesday to be the starting slot corner. Playing a guy thats never played safety before at safety after McLeod went down. They are also not creating any turnovers this year to give the offense short fields.

avg starting field position 2017 - 5th
avg starting field position 2018 - 25th

Offense is Jeffery/Ertz and thats about it. The running backs are all JAGs and they are getting nothing from the WR #2 slot with both Wallace/Hollins out. Doug also made a massive mistake not bringing in an offensive coordinator after losing both Reich/Flip last offseason. I have no idea wtf Groh is doing this year trying to turn Agholor into Tavon Austin.

They weren't involved in the defense but this team sorely misses Defilippo and Reich.
