ike reese says desean is close to 100% in the giants game. According to him if the league wasnt enforcing the concussion = auto sit out 1 game and no practice rule he would have played against the falcons. Akeem should be a go as well, he practiced most of the week but didnt play.

Props to jeremy macklin who is progressing nicely into a solid reciever, just drops some easy ones he shouldnt.

Also, thank you NY for beating dallas tonight, as hard as that is to say.

I have high hopes for Maclin's career. He looks better than any rookie receiver we've ever had (Reid era) besides DeSean.

Also, for whatever reason, McNabb can complete a slant to him. We've been watching McNabb throw slants into the dirt for a decade, yet it's a 7 yard completion to Maclin every time. Shrug.

The Falcons D is atrocious so its hard to learn too much from that game, but it was one of the better offensive gameplans Ive seen Reid/Marty come up with in sometime. I like the way they are using Weaver, the man is a beast and adds a wrinkle to this offense that we have never had before.

Never thought I would be so glad to have Hanson back in the lineup

Jordan will practice fully this week, Peters' injury doesn't sound serious, Jackson and Westbrook "could" return to practice this week, Curtis will be practicing.

Hopefully everything is falling into place for a strong run...

Big Red: "Jeremy Maclin has a shoulder sprain, and the plantar fasciitis he has is acting up a little bit, but he should be ok."

On Reid's radio show today he said aorn Jackson will play, Jordan "should" be back, and Westbrook was cleared to practice.

The homer in me says Westy has one more special game in him before the season is done.

The realist in me disagrees.

I don't want the guy to get re injured or anything but the team is just moving on without him, he may only get in the way.

I don't see why Westbrook wont be good when he comes back. Its not like he broke his leg. 47/225/4.8YPC this year.

Me too, I'm confident that he can still be valuable as long as we make sure he's 100% healthy. Obviously we're never going to ask him to play a big role, but he can certainly still be dangerous in space out of the backfield and in the screen game.

Also, he's one more weapon that defenses have to key on/gameplan for, which can only help.

Maybe, but I am not eagerly awaiting his return.

Wait, you think defenses are really game-planning that hard for Westbrook at this point in his career? I mean obv he has to be considered, but he is much more of an afterthought then in the past imo...

Defenses definitely aren't gameplanning like crazy for him anymore, certainly not like the old days.

Let's get him out in space on a screen though, he makes a couple people miss and takes it 40 yards to the house, and all the sudden D coordinators are ****ting themselves about having to cover DJax, Bwest, and Maclin at the same time while accounting for Celek, Mcnabb and Leonard ****ing Weaver.

I think Bwest's days of pounding it between the tackles is over, but that doesn't mean he can't be dangerous anymore.

He can still be dangerous as a 3rd down guy. Weaver is beasting 1st down, no reason to move away from him in that role.
