I thought this was because Sturgis seemed hurt, but then he came on for the PAT/kickoff and I was like WTF? Agree that I'd rather see a bit too aggressive rather than lolkickingteam.

2-0 is nice, but I'm trying to temper my expectations since it was the lolbrowns and lolbears. However, they won both games easily which is what your suppose to do to those teams. Next week will be a true test against an explosive Steelers group.

Most importantly, Carson looks good. If not for some more loldrops and some dumb penalties, his box score would like pretty sexy. No INTs is huge too. I don't remember a single throw yet that I thought "Lucky that one wasn't picked". Only nit pick I have right now is to run the **** OOB or slide. Don't kill yourself on a 6 yard scramble, brah.

The style he sung it in was just really a turn off for me. It was almost like he was yodelling. I'm sure maybe it's a very artistic way of doing it but I didnt care for it at all. Not a big deal.

Went from 6 to midnight listening to Doug Pederson answer the 4th down questions from reporters today, mentioning analytics and going for it more often on 4th down. He also doesn't seem to buy into the pass/run 50/50 bull. Could Pederson be who we thought Chip Kelly was going to be? So pumped for this new regime and for Howie's epic comeback. Seeing Steelers -3.5 right now, seem low to anyone else? I'm very intentionally not getting my hopes up for this team, but maybe I'm underrating them a bit as a result? I think it's still hard to find more than 5 more wins on the schedule.

The turnaround this season is incredible. Wentz was basically free after the trade and aside from the stupid hits he is taking it's just absolute money. Doug appears to be a good coach (wat). We hired Schwartz, moved back to a 4-3 and the sick front seven can finally wreak havoc. As the season wears on the receivers should hopefully fix these drops. DGB might really become an X-factor in this offense. Wentz looked his way a little more this week. I would like to see them hook up more. Hot take: Eagles win this week

I'm in the "temper expectations" camp. If Wentz doesn't learn to protect himself, he may not last. Losing Lane is going to hurt pretty bad. Definitely excited about the direction of the team.

Yup. I expect the secondary to struggle, Wentz and the offense may too. Hopefully not. A win would be awesome, but a close game would be encouraging.
