Hope of what? Some of us in here have been saying it since week 3 or 4... Lose out... You get nothing for going 7-9 and winning a ****ty division just to get knocked out of the first round. They need a top tier pick since they don't have a second round pick in next years draft. This team is a disaster and if anyone is not seeing that then I'm not sure what you're watching. They don't have the talent that is needed to compete for a championship.

Nobody wants "their" team to lose any game but if "we" aren't going anywhere this year and it is going to help us moving forward then so be it. With no second rounder next year our first rounder has to be a cant miss starter on week 1. You know not another Marcus Smith who has 1 tackle this season or Nelson Agholor who has 148 yards. I don't know how its so difficult to comprehend that. You're acting as if this team has the talent to make a run at the Lombardi trophy. Who gives a **** if they beat the Lions... No but to be able to compete on a weekly basis to eventually win a game in the playoffs and make a Super Bowl run they need to acquire talent via the draft. Teams don't build competitive/championship teams in the NFL via free agency.

This season is over... That's what you need to know and if you want the team to be more competitive next season then take off the blinders and understand that going 3-3 down the stretch is not going to help them next season.

They aren't getting a top 5 pick unless they lose out and if they do that then this franchise is in a lot worse shape than everybody thought. So while losing helps the team rebuild, as a fan you shouldn't want your team to be in that position, especially when expectations were much higher.
