Everything you say is true, but this would have been true had they managed to squeak this win out today, and something tells me you wouldn't have made that post.

You can go back and read my posts. After they lost the Cowboys game... I was saying they won't make the playoffs. Had they won today I would of had the same thought. It's not like the Redskins are some great team. For Christ sake the Eagles were a road favorite so that tells you how good the Redskins are. It comes down to one thing... Talent and the Eagles don't have enough of it.

Don't we just have to accept the fact that they suck and almost pull for them to lose out so we get a great pick? **** going 6-10 or 7-9 and missing the playoffs. Go 3-13, get a top 3 pick and improve the line.

I dunno. I don't even know what to be happy about. For many years at LEAST we had a defense to be satisfied with, but their defense comes and goes. Their offense is beyond pathetic.

Is it Bradford? Some of his throws are terrible. Is it the offensive line not protecting him? Both? Why is Demarco running sideways, ever?

I don't understand. We have talent on the team, but we completely suck. WTF is going on here? I'm at a total loss for reasons. I think we just flat out suck.

Lol. Just got off the phone with my friend who's a die-hard fan. I pretty much said the above to him, and asked "what can we even be grateful for on the Eagles right now?"

He said Darren Sproles and the run defense. lol. That's it. Even our kicker blows.

Christ.

Seems like every single first half is complete trash, digging a hole. That's gotta be on the coaching staff.

well thats the thing. we kinda don't. at least on offense and thats whats gonna destroy this season. bradford is bad. the line is an abomination. celek is old and ertz never really got better. cooper is awful. miles austin should never see the field, agholor is a rookie, mathews looks like a decent slot receiver but nothing more. huff looks like a bust. the running backs are good but with no line to block for them who cares.

not ready to bail on chip yet but he's made some critical mistakes the last couple of years and is paying for it now. he managed to dig himself quite a hole entirely by his own doing and is gonna have to find a way out of it.

a lot of this comes down to o-line play. it's terrible. if you give a qb more time he becomes better. even if bradford is bad, he becomes a little better with some time. more time = receivers get an exra second or 2 to get open, which is huge. better line play = better run game. Lane is the last OL they drafted. that has to be a priority this offseason.

i'm pretty concerned that they can't play a whole football game. they have played ~3 halves of football in 4 games. the other 5 halves they have completely phoned in. hell, just playing a better 2nd quarter in the ATL and WAS game means they are probably 3-1. a really ****ty 3-1, but 3-1 nonetheless. and this phenomenon is not really anything new with chip. there have been many games where they basically played 1 half and then phoned in the other before this season. hell, every opening day.

Yeah you're right. I might have to just root for Temple now.

This is what happens when u hire a college coach that has no NFL experience. The only reason he had any success in the past two years is b/c he was calling plays with Reid's players.

3rd year in and Sam Bradford is our QB? Why? Trade Maclin? Why? If u can honestly come up with sound answers to these questions I'm all ears. But until then Chip Kelly is in my firm opinion a college coach who has no business in professional football. End rant/

Bradford is better than Foles... Foles is just fortunate to have a better o-line right now. The Eagles could have Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers and they would still suck because the o-line cant block a fart.

Jeremy Maclin was an unrestricted free agent and signed with the Chiefs.

I'm thinking Chip Kelley may have done to the Eagles what Isaiah Thomas did to the Knicks...this team could be lousy for years to come at this rate. I'm holding out hope that because the NFC Least is so pathetic that somehow maybe the birds pull a Gmen and squeek into the playoffs and wind up with a ring...but I may just be a delusional masochist

Chip Kelly will be leaving Philly, and head back to college... What a bust as an NFL head coach.

1. "Inconsistent" would be a better word. He's had 4 quarters of great play this season, but the rest have been pretty bad. I mostly blame the O-line for not giving him enough time this last game and also Chip's 1st half gameplan, but Bradford does have some blame too.

2. No way that this is this true. Jordan Matthews is a legit #1 WR in my eyes. Any of his recent down games can be blamed on the entire offense struggling as a whole.

3. I entirely agree with the 3rd bolded statement. Not drafting a single O-lineman is completely on Chip, now he has to somehow come up with a way to work around that weakness and hopefully fix it next offseason with new personnel.

I blame the last loss on Chip not throwing downfield/attacking Wash's weak secondary in the 1st half. If they had run that game plan the entire 4 quarters, the outcome probably would have been different. Bradford has a beautiful deep ball, btw.

I'm not giving up on them yet, but I understand why people are flipping out. Fact is, we're still only 1 gb in a pretty weak division until Romo/Dez come back. They need to somehow find a way to go 2-1 in the next 3 before the BYE, then they head to Dallas week 9. If they keep having only 1 good half of football each week, it will be a long season for us all.

Of the 12 remaining games they probably will win 3. Tampa Bay, Miami, and Washington. Every other team is miles above them.
