Looks like Gocong = SAM, Spoon = WILL, Mays = MIKE. For this week at least.

So so so so happy with this win. Playcalling was A+, team overcame some bad breaks and turnovers and was huge in the 4th. O-line really played well, D did OK despite all the injuries.

Just a solid win. I liked the running game, Shady looked a lot better tonight, just hitting the hole and picking up a few yards instead of trying to Reggie Bush it.

Big kudos to Sheldon. Great game tonight playing hurt.

If this team is 7-4 heading into the Falcons game with the LBs of Jordan/Witherspoon/Gocong, and CBs of Sheldon/Asante/Joselio healthy I will be ECSTATIC.

Wheeeee, huge ****ing win. So great to see us win a close game.

Mcnabb played well. He was moving very well (especially in the pocket) and pretty accurate imo. Threw a couple of really good balls and didn't make many mistakes (except for the pick obv, but even that wasn't the worst throw ever). He was pretty efficient and engineered a beautiful big drive when we needed it.

Agree with Fink that I <3 Shady so much more when he's not making two jukes before he gets to the LOS.

Next week is one we should have, but it's the type of game that it seems like the Eagles **** up every year. If we take care of business there we're in really good shape going forward imo.

Good win last night, saw a handful of improvements from last week. Shady looked great, it seems as if the full week of practice with the 1st team made a big difference. Macho Harris had a pretty solid game as well, he seems to be improving, slowly but at least its something.

But if Cutler hits one of those receivers in the corner of the end zone this game might have been a bit different.

As others have said, getting this secondary healthy/reinstated is key to the success of this team in the coming weeks.

Patterson is kind of frustrating to watch play...pretty lol bad actually.

i was about to cut patterson some slack, b/c i thought he was a UDFA rookie, but this is his 4th year in the league - he prob should be better. even still he is our 6th(5th?) corner thrust into guarding the #1 WR - he's looked good against the run, made a couple plays behind the LOS - he's ok i guess

whatever. how many "if only this we would have won" games have we had over the past 5 years? I know we ran like god to make the playoffs last year but we are kings of finding a way to lose games.

also, with the secondary in the state that its in, bringing heat and making cutler beat you with deep throws is prob the best strategy. against another qb, not so much, but touch isnt cutler's strong suit

He played well last week against the Bears - Collinsworth singled him out on two running plays where he blew open a huge hole iirc.

But yea, if you told me 3 years ago that Justice would be a starter and Andrews would be a total bust at this point, I would have laughed pretty hard.

I'm not sure I like the onside kick against WAS. using it against a better team to get an edge is a cool idea, but against a bad team we just want to reduce variance and take care of business.
