Foles is one tough SOB

Gutsy performance by Foles, and Maclin has convinced me through these first 3 games that he's a number 1 WR.

Hopefully Kelce is okay, because our run offense suffered but surprisingly the backups looked fine on the pass. The defense has to get better somehow and Nate Allen looked like old Nate Allen today.

Yeh J-Mac was really good today. Dumb penalty on Kelce cost him an 80 yard TD and Foles missed him wide open streaking down the field for another long TD, still had 8/154/1.

Defense looking bad. This team is winning in erratic, unsustainable ways. I don't see how they can be considered a top team right now, when they just can't seem to get their **** together.

Hated the punt on fourth and one at Midfield. I know you're averaging 2ypc and your backups are in, but still seems bad.

Boykin in for Fletcher seems like a no brainer at this point. He's clearly a better corner.

I'm wasn't quite sure what to think of it, so I ate it.

Obv by eating it I consumed Jackson's power and insured the win.

I love that Carey Williams thinks chip (of all people) isn't adequately prepared on how to practice during the week.

With all the veterans praising sports science, Mathis and Celek saying they've never felt better, it seems crazy.

I don't know if Carey follows all the sleep and diet regulations, but I hope he does if he's making these comments.

I get the feeling he won't be here next year.

Cary Williams is a special kind of stupid to make those remarks. Not only does he call out his coach, but then he trashes his teammates by saying that he's the only one man enough to come out and say what he did. This is definitely his last year in Philly, and good riddance when he's finally gone. Hopefully we give Boykin a legitimate shot on the outside because losing him would really suck.

Sort of agree with the caveat that the offense has been incredibly productive despite not really executing at the level we know they can.

This defense definitely scares me, though. I don't care how great this offense becomes - they aren't going to be a truly elite squad until the defense can figure out how to stop people. Although in their defense, Cousins was fantastic day, and it wasn't just us making him look good. There were a ton of throws he made that were straight up indefensible. Reminded me a lot of what Foles looked like last year.

Yeh I haven't been like "the offense really put it together today!" yet this season... and they've scored 34, 30, and 37.

This is pretty true, at least from the parts of the game I got to see (1st half and last half of the 4th quarter). Cousins was throwing some dimes out there and seemed to be in total Video Game-Mode control.

But yeah, the D generally has me a little uneasy.

I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about Foles performance today because of some of the missed throws. I might be inclined to agree if it were any other week, but the o-line was brutal today and he was getting drilled left and right. I give him a ton of credit for just being able to finish the game, and in the end he made a lot more throws than he missed. The clutch factor was there, too.

Loved to see Matthews so heavily involved in the offense. I could see him taking over Cooper's spot within a few weeks, though they might prefer to use him in the slot and just roll 3 WR sets more instead.

Just have to hope Kelce is ok because this line can't afford any more injuries. Shady legitimately had no shot to do anything on 90% of his carries.

the way kelce was grabbing his lower abdomen i wouldn't be surprised if he had some kind of hernia and was out a while. at least there's only 1 more week without lane johnson.

we won without kelce for the whole game and kendricks, probably the two most important members of the offense/defense (maybe you could argue ryans>kendricks). Gonna be really hard to win next week but 3-1 isn't bad and we can get Lane back too

well crap. Whats so frustrating is that all these injuries are happening to the same 2 position groups (o-line and inside llinebacker).

The only good news is that eventually they will get all these players back. Lane Johnson's suspension ends after the 49ers game next week. Mathis will be back in early November. Kelce hopefully the end of November.

3-0 start is looking super important now. They only have to go 7-6 the rest of the way to get to 10 wins. Hell 9 wins probably wins the division this year.

Yeah this sucks but thankfully, they are 3-0 in a division where 9-7 could easily win the division, and none of these have been for the season yet. Johnson comes back after the next game and Kelce/Mathis will be back by the late season push.
