Lovin our schedule right now.. I was thinking of going to this weekends game and tryin to scalp another ticket but November is going to be an awesome Home month. All my best friends are either Gmen or Skin fans, can't wait to bring them to our stadium and watch them get doused in beer cup after beer cup watching their beloved teams go down hah. Now I just need to save all my paychecks til then so I can actually get a seat this time instead of standing on the ramp like the Saints game

Yeah get tickets. I used to do the SRO thing, and I've learned that 1 game with good tickets in the lower level is way better than 2 games SRO.

SRO is great for Phillies, not so much for Eagles.

That is so true, expecially if you have to stand on the ramps by 95, you cant hear the PA announcer for some reason, bc you are actually behind the speakers. You might think thats not a big deal but it really is annoying.

I realize today's game is going to be a snoozer but 5 days and no posts come on now...

There are a few good story lines...

The return of Mcnabb, lets just see how healthy he is, I would have liked him to sit another week but maybe he is fine...we will see.

Trotter's return to the league...hopefully he will get some PT in garbage time Id like to see how he looks. He cant be any worse then Joe Mays was in the preseason.

The start of Shady and Westy splitting carries, by seasons end itll be all shady IMO so its the begining of the end for Westy?

INACTIVES

Curtis, Herremans, McGlynn, Mays, Babin, Demps, Laws, Gibson.

Why are Laws and Demps inactive?

Why are we running wildcat on 2nd and 20 when McNabb is averaging like 10 yards per pass play?

Can everyone else hear that noisemaker before every play? It's not my TV, right? F***ing thing is driving me crazy.

Took care of business. What else can you really say?

A healthy Mcnabb who can hand to a healthy Westbrook and/or Mccoy.

Or he could drop back and look for DJax or Maclin down the field. If that's not there then find Celek over the middle.

I'm drooling.

Tough to tell exactly where this team is at, but 3 blowout wins where they just toy with their opponents shows promise.

I like the wildcat. But not with Vick. Actually I don't really know why we are using Vick at this point cause it appears they are terrified to have him do anything(like throw a pass).

The one drive Tampa had before the end of the first half was one of the weirdest I've seen. At one point it was like 14 plays for 50 yards and had taken up 8min of clock. Yet their offense was doing nothing at all except get bailed out by the refs on 3rd down.

Nice knowing ya Kevin Curtis. Maclin looks good already. I think Jackson becoming their best receiver as a rookie last year changed the coaches presumption some of guys learning the offense and being able to play early on.

What I don't understand about Vick, is why line him up at WR and then have Shady (or whoever) take the snap and run? Why not just bring in another blocker? They already know we're running.

Or line up McNabb and Shady (or whoever) side by side in the backfield. Now the defense doesn't know if it's going to be a normal play or a wildcat play, and they actually have to respect pass. If you snap it to the wildcat, McNabb just runs away from the play. Having the QB as a WR is pretty useless.

The Maclin thing shows the variance in the draft. The Eagles missed on every wide receiver for years, including Freddie (first round) and Pinkston (second round). And then they hit a home run with Jackson and perhaps another with Maclin.

Re: Inactives

Normally, the third QB is listed as inactive even though he can enter the game (which prevents the first two QBs from re-entering). But the Eagles aren't doing that with Kolb, so they essentially lose a player. They're also pretty healthy, which is why they had a lot of healthy inactives.

i don't even know how to feel about this last game

it seems like we never had the ball, but were in complete control, and winning big

We might want to cut back on the 10+ penalties a game. Could help.
