I trust Reid and co, so I expect us to do a good job.

Biggest questions are on defense I should think. Can we re sign Bradley and can he stay healthy and beastly? If not, then Chaney in the middle but we need a linebacker.

And we need a corner. There were the links with Awesome-wa which would obviously be a dream come true. Seems to me like with teams having to get to the salary floor, some team is going to give him a stupid-money deal, which we probably won't be able to. So that would be the dream solution, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

A lot of talk also that we'll get a corner (Cro?) as part of a trade for Kolb.

Which brings us to the Kolb situation. Vick's obviously the starter, but he's certainly a dog to play 16 games. So we need a good backup. Obv Kolb is more than capable, but there's so much interest in him that we'll hope to get a great package from somewhere and move him on so he can be a starter.

Best case scenario, we rape some stupid GM for a great package of draft picks or an important piece for the defense.

If we do that of course, we need to come up with a backup qb that can definitely step in and play if/when Vick gets hurt. There've been rumors of Favre, which I don't really want. I'm not sure who else would be plausible.

And finally, there've been the Plax rumors. I would love to sign him and give it a shot and really hope we do, but I guess we'll see.

Interested in hearing thoughts, as I know some of you are more knowledgeable about all this stuff than I am.

Gonna need some defensive ends. Graham butchered his knee and probably won't do much this year. Plus Washburn will rotate his lineman far more than McD did.

Offense looks set other than a backup running back. Maybe they take a run at a right tackle but I doubt it. Offense was good enough to win the SB last year. D not so much.

I'm actually more interested in how the defensive schemes look this year than the players. To me it looks like they realized the Jim Johnson defense isn't gonna work anymore since JJ basically ran everything when he was alive and all his good assistants got poached for head coaching jobs. McD was basically the last guy left so took a flyer on him last year but he was just over matched imo and not ready.

I kinda feel like Vince Young would be a nice pickup, I mean he's cut, it wouldn't cost us much and I'm sure with him being around Vick and all the crap he's been thru then maybe he'll stop being such a hoodrat and Vick can show him how to have some respect for life and care about football again.

We got Jason Babin back - 5 year deal (at 31...). Makes sense though. Looks like Kolb to Cards for DRC + a 2nd is a near lock. I have a feeling the Eagles sign Vince Young as well.

brandon graham is gonna start the season on the PUP list b/c of his microfracture surgery... he will miss the first 6 games, and any contribution after that is a bonus i guess.

now the amount of years in the babin deal given his age makes a bit more sense.

Really surprised eagles went after babin instead of ray Edwards, unusual for them to go after the older guy in free agency.
