Oh yeah true.

Just penalties in general killed us. So many.

anyone wanna go to eagles-chargers week 10 in SD? How about week 17 in Dallas? (Note: I'm gonna hold off on committing to this game until knowing if the game is gonna mean much)

I'm tired of having to fly in busto friends from home to go to sporting events with me so I don't have to go alone. Would be cool to go to a game with someone who can support themself.

Also hoping to get to the Linc for a game at some point. Being a displaced fan kind of sucks, I miss being among lots of Eagles fans.

Granted, NO does not have a good defense and it would have been good to see him throw downfield more, but he did a good job for his first start. (Note: we left with five minutes to go and I didn't see the second two picks, but whatever garbage time is irrelevant)..
I'm mixed on Kolb. There seemed to be times when he stood in the pocket with pressure coming, but it seemed as if the game went on he started drifting out of the pocket more when he felt pressured, instead of moving up or within the pocket. I don't think he has good pocket presence at all, and supposedly at Houston he moved out of the pocket and threw on the run quite a bit. This, imo, became quite evident when juxtaposed with Drew Brees, who is God-like right now.

I'm willing to cut him some slack on pocket presence in his first career start.

With that said, when I say my "confidence grew massively", I mean that my confidence increased from "OMG Kolb is utterly worthless" to "there is still a 75% chance Kolb is worthless, with some chance he could be a reasonable backup."

You took the words right out of my mouth, when I walked out of the stadium I was saying this and people disagreed with me. I dont see how you can give him a pass for something like this, its something he should have a decent understanding about by now. I realize he does not have alot of game experience but he should know that you cant roll right every single time.

Oh and BTW the pick on the second possesion of the 2nd half was very very bad, in case people didnt already know that, lol.

How many snaps for Vick do you think? I'm guessing about 7.

I was wondering the same thing, but I had to respond to that guy who was asking if Basket would start for the Colts the other night. That question was an absurd one, and even more absurd considering the audience.

Eagles signed Jordan Norwood for all those Nittany Lions fans...

I think he will get closer to 10, also depends on what the score is...

Considering how many wildcat plays they ran in the first half (and presumably would have stayed with it if it didn't turn into a blowout), I would guess at least 5 and probably upwards of 10.

if you can get to the Eagles site before they take down this abomination of a pre-game flash video...

2004's videos were so awesome, this is...um...well let's say I didn't know until tonight that I could have an even more venomous hatred for Dave Spadaro.

OMG I couldn't even get through that.

I've probably mentioned this, but in high school I job shadowed Howie Roseman for an afternoon. Howie is like 3rd in charge in the front office after Banner and Heckert.

Spadaro was constantly popping his head into Roseman's office trying to get tips from him, as it was the beginning of free agency. The hatred Roseman had for Spadaro was pretty obvious. The guy is just a tool.

I don't understand some of the hate for the wildcat.

If it keeps gaining over 5 yards a pop, what's the problem?

I like it. It's exciting and new, and it's gaining yards.

Im with you, I think its super exciting, not to mention that it works!

This week will be interesting to say the least...what if Desean has to miss this week? what if Westbrook misses this week(I doubt it but...)?

What are the odds that by week 7 McCoy is getting over half the touches at RB? I wont say he will be there starter, bc if Westbrook is healthy they will have him as the "starter". 36 is just crumbling before our eyes and it is kind of painful to watch...

Really impressed with Kolb today. They cut away from the game near the end of the third quarter, but I was really pleased with how he was playing. He had a tendency to throw behind receivers and he floated a few ducks, but he also showed good pocket presence and made some throws I didn't think he could make. Granted it's just the Chiefs, but I'm almost infinitely happier with Kolb now than I was heading into the season. I'm pretty sure that's the last we'll see of Garcia.

Kolb played well today. His throws to Celek were really good, right on the hands. He had one bad one that was almost picked, and two throws where it looked like there was a miscommunication between him and the receiver - one of those was almost picked as well, but not necessary Kolb's fault.

I was really impressed with Shady. He made some ridiculous cuts. It seemed like he started to get a little Reggie Bush syndrome in the second half, but meh. He's gonna be a good player.

OMG I am so sick with the designed sprint-outs that Reid has been running for ten years in short yardage situations. They don't work, how has he not realized this already? They ran one on the 4th and 1, incomplete, UGH!

Defense was terrific, just a ton of blitzing, good pressure, etc.

Todd Haley is a joke of a head coach. It's like they weren't even trying in the 2nd half. Throws on 3rd and 1, runs on 3rd and long. Embarrassing playcalling, as if he was purposely trying to hurt his own team.

What the **** are the Seahawks wearing?

Vick looked like, well, Vick. Chiefs get a pass rush, Vick eludes it, gets free, then fires an imcompletion into Avant's feet. That had me laughing.

Ok seriously, what the **** are the Seahawks wearing?
