Jenkins has played extremely well this season and LOL @ anybody who thinks otherwise. I say that as somebody who hated the signing. The question is whether or not he can sustain this level of play and for how long.
Frustrating loss. Foles with a particularly brutal outing but it doesn't help that the o-line is in shambles and our run game is non-existant. Cooper also dropped another touchdown and looks exactly like the WR4 that he was under Reid. Should only be a matter of time before Matthews takes over his spot on the outside, and hopefully Huff can earn a start or two in the slot when he gets healthy and knock Cooper down to where he belongs on the depth chart.
On the bright side now we get to play the LOLRAMS and will be getting back Lane Johnson, which also means Herramanns can slide back to RG. Oh, and if you told me we'd be 3-1 at this point I'd be pretty happy with that. Still don't think this team is a legit contender, though, but the decimated o-line obviously plays a large role in why they've looked so shaky.
If we still can't run the ball either of the next 2 weeks I'm gonna really worry. Hopefully going from 1/5 starters to 3/5 starters will make a difference. Teams are gonna adjust if we can't run at all though. Harbaugh did it on sunday. Just kept the safeties deep and even had 6 man boxes on first down. Chip mentioned it in his PC last night. They just rushed 4 and dropped 7 in a zone all game. Its why the passing game grinded to a halt.
Getting Lane Johnson back and playing the rams @ home should help us bounce back. I'm not taking it for granted, but I do think we will win it by double digits. The Giants game the following week will be tough, but as long as we go 4-2 into the bye I think we'll be fine (mathis/Kelce should be back around week 10 right?).
Foles really seems like he has regressed this year so far. Its disturbing, but we can also very happy that we're somehow 4-1 right now. Hopefully the O-line and running game will continue to improve and take some pressure off Foles.
biggest game of the year coming up, kind of a good test. the schedule gets hard from here on out. SNF at home though we gotta take care of business and go into our bye at 5-1
All the overreaction from NY to the latest lil' Eli splash cartoon is funny. So dumb. Just because it's dark it's referencing Sayreville?
Not feeling the game tonight tbh. The offense has to be better than the last couple of games, and probably better than they've been in any game this season. If they can get it humming tonight, what great timing that would be!
