Well, he's not totally off. Harris has been out with injury for the last two games. Jackson didn't play yesterday for some reason, which confuses me because I thought he played fairly well in the first two games. Watkins is going to struggle in the preseason for obvious reasons.

That said, last night was scary. I'm just glad Vick is okay.

Edit: Eskin saying Harris is done. Has a herniated disc and will have surgergy next week.

I think they have to trade Hanson at this point and use the newfound cap space to either bring in a veteran RT / LB or use it towards getting Vick / DeSean extended. There's no reason why our dime cornerback should be making that much money with the holes we have elsewhere on this team.

On another note, has anybody been impressed with Coleman as much as I have? Even without Allen's injury issues I think he's earned the starting job at FS.

don't think so, the contract actually lowers the cap hit for Vick from $16M to $13M. There is also no way he plays year 6 (20Mill) so he averages $14M/year if he plays all 5 years. They could also cut him in a couple years without much of a hit. Seems like a smart contract.

Bryan Smith was just a horrible selection, he was way too small to be a pro DE.
