They cut Allen and dont owe him anything, non garaunteed contract ftw.

Plus who cares anyway, keep Thad and Speights the rest of this team can go.

yea i hear ya, but if ai is dropping 22 a game that decision is tough. Especially if they are winning and filling the arena at that time. I Happen to think jrue is going to be a stud eventually, im just hoping his progress isnt trampled upon.

Also iguodala gets less respect than anyone ive ever seen i think. the dude is a tripple double threat every night along with being a top 3 defensive sf in the league imo. Iggy, speights, thad, lou, and holiday. That's our future.

This is disappointing and pretty shortsighted. AI will be taking time from guys who need the PT to develop, and I really doubt he's the guy you want mentoring and being an example for young guards/players. I am hopeful he will continue his trend of the last few years of depressing the win total of the team he's playing for, we could use the extra balls in the lottery.

I wish I didn't have so much ****ing work to do at the end of the semester or I'd go as well. I might try and get tickets over winter break at some point.

Who is he stealing PT from anyway? This team is putrid, its not like they signed him to a 3 year deal or anything its just a couple of months. Ok maybe Jrue Holliday but the kid has plenty of time to develop and I dont think that a few months of coming off the bench is going to hinder his production.

The whole mentoring thing is such BS, any young player on this team grew up watching AI and probably loved the way he played. 3 months of AI is not going to ruin an already terrible squad.

It's Jrue Holliday, and it's most of the season. 'Mentoring' is a bit strong I'll admit, but you're right that these kids probably loved AI, and that's unfortunate. He has a self proclaimed lack of off the court work ethic, a game that is best served to get himself shots, is and always has been a defensive liability(steal numbers are nice, don't come close to making up for his overall deficiency) and a demeanor that has always been Allen first. Is he fun to watch, yeah sure, but not the guy you should want on a team of young players hopefully learning how to play the game right.

Do you honestly think that 2-3 months of AI is going to completely change a person like Jrue Holliday and turn him into an egotiscal me first shooter like AI?

That being said, everything you say about Allen is correct, he is a horrible team guy, but this really isnt much of a team anyway so I dont think youre hurting yourself much.

since were doing predictions and all...

Iverson drops in 40 with 7 assists and 3 steals...

Then i wake up and realize he drops 15 and 4 in a losing effort to go 5-16 fml

Dalembert had a nice game. Really controlled the paint well. 6 blocks / 15 boards.

Iggy was on fire in the 1st half. Then Denver got the bright idea to start trapping him every time he got the ball on the wing and we starting turning the ball over and getting no good looks.

AI really had problems guarding Billups.

I was watching the Flyers (not sure why), but when I left the Sixers they were winning by like 8, then when I came back they were down by 10ish. Not sure what the problem was, but that seems to be typical with them. They really do have some nice players now, maybe they can win some games? Then again, probably not.

I had bought tickets for the game last night, then yesterday I realized that this team sucks and gave them away. I didnt even watch it on TV, I almost fell for their trick but its gonna take alot more then nostalgia to get me back into this team.
