Awesome game, played great down the stretch. Seemed like Williams, Jrue, and even Iggy could get blow-bys at will. Then were either finishing in the paint or making good passes when the defense rotated/collapsed.

I'm such a Jrue fanboy. I think he's excellent already and only getting better and better.

o well. hopefully jrue develops into a star, or at least a scorer.

maybe turner can turn into iguodala and they can trade iguodala for some nice assets. His value might be at it's peak right now.

Sixers are set up nicely to be a mediocre team for 5-7 years. Not a good pace to be IMO

Iggy for Pau Gasol. There will be lots of rumors around this (already starting in fact), and although Pau is 3.5 years older than Iggy, if they can do it I think they should. If Turner and/or Jrue make a leap in the next couple of years, they should be able to be a top 4 seed in the East going forward.

Probably take more than just Iggy(salaries don't match either). We're really going to see what the new owners care about this offseason. If they amnesty Brand and make an aggressive trade for a big I'll have some hope in the franchise for the 1st time in awhile.

i dont think they'll use their amnesty on anyone when brand is almost done and they can just wait one more year. They'd be more likely to try to trade brand for someone as "salary relief" than amnesty him, imo.

Rumors circulating of a 4 team deal are brewing. Sixers involvement would be moving Iggy to Denver and getting Bynum from the Lakers.

I know Bynum is a bit of a headcase but yes please!!

Multiple sources say a deal is done. Sixers giving up Iggy, Vucevic, Harkless and a future first rounder. sixers obtain Jason Richardson and Bynum.

I love it.

Sixers didn't give up much, but they didn't get much either. Bynum is a dog and a head case. If he were to fulfill his potential this would be an outstanding trade but I think the chances of that are less than 10%, .

the lakers did and its not close but yeah sixers were 2nd. of all the decent players we coulda got for iguodala, bynum is probably the best, and richardson is decent as well. vucevic wasnt ever going to fit in with collins so throwing him in isn't any loss and they have a much more balanced team now with 4 bigs + thad, evan/thad/wright at the 3 and 4 guards (tho ivey shouldnt count as one). unfortunately moultrie isnt ever getting off the bench now, probably the biggest downside

Obv the Lakers win, but I meant the Sixers got nice value out of giving up Iggy.

Love the trade.

Not sure how you can say the Sixers didnt get much, even if Bynum doesnt re-sign here they had to make a change, we were kind of spinning our wheels a bit.

The trade for Andrew couldn't have come at a better time. Andre is great but the Olympics showed where he can go from here. Now Philly has a big man and may be able to attract some talent to build in in free agency if they can resign him at the end of the year

I was listening to that game on the radio in the car, it was so weird hearing Mcginnis say things like "Brooklyn's ball", lol. Pumped for this season to get going.

Nick Young is 5-20, has 0 assists and is a minus 35 in the first two games. He's a "scorer" that can't score and does nothing else well on the court. Oh, and he's getting 25 mins a game. Fun times.

Hopefully when Bynum comes back (3 weeks?) he can stay healthy and play 63 of the final 68 games or so.
