Nebraska next week such a huuuge game for this season. Win and this season is a success even if (when?) Wisky blows us out at their place.

Of course even a sanctioned 6-6 isn't too bad considering we field one of the worst secondaries in FBS. Really though that seems to be the lone truly weak link on this squad.

Yeah, winning against Nebraska this year will put the team ahead of expectations. Losing puts them at or below. Wisconsin game is a 100% loss.

Our linebacking corp is not deep and not that good either. I agree that beating Nebraska makes this season a net positive.

I saw on twitter that McGloin is the first undrafted rookie QB to throw 3 TDs in a game in 26 years.

It was a term referenced in the show Oz. The term could be viewed as being somewhat politically incorrect so I thought the better of it.

7-5 is at the high end of my expectations for the season. Not sure if PSU has ever been a 25pt dog before, but winning that one was definitely above expectations. Feels like that 2004 MSU win. I hope next year is similar to 2005.

Vanderlinden and Fisher gone. Fisher is whatever but I'm a little concerned about Vanderlinden as he was a great recruiter and a good LB coach from all accounts.
