I was trying to go with the theme of your QB getting crushed, which he basically should. I mean the formula for beating a mostly immobile true freshman QB is pretty basic: Stop the run, force QB into a lot of obvious passing situations, and then throw a lot of blitzes at him. We should also be double covering Robinson a lot since obviously Hackenberg has been pretty locked in on him.
But anyways, lolme cuz as you correctly guessed it, that one pic IS after the Manningham play, so that guy on the ground is not a QB.
Regarding that Manningham play....(first I gotta post the pic for good measure):
....That has to be the #1 most devastating play in Penn State history--An undefeated season, and a healthy amount of national championship equity ruined on a last second play. Can't hurt more than that. On Michigan's end, the play was great, no doubt, but it wasn't even close to as awesome as it was bad for you guys. Our season was already effectively over. We were 3-3 with 2 losses in the Big Ten. So beyond giving us a better chance at having a winning record, that win wasn't gonna do much for us. Altho, IIRC Michigan was still mathematically in the Big Ten race going into the OSU game, so the PSU win ended up being more important than I initially thought, but we were still a long shot. We had to beat Ohio State, and we needed a couple of other games to go our way I think. Either way, if anything that win over you guys, might've actually hurt (viscerally speaking) more than it felt good. It was a bittersweet reminder that the 2005 season was a lost season for Michigan, but it didn't necessarily have to be that way.
That's why, to me, this is the best Michigan-Penn State moment:
That's
Chris Perry lunging in the end zone for the winning TD in OT vs Penn State in 2002. That win was much more meaningful to me. At that point we were 4-1 (1-0), still a lot to play for, and that HUGE win kept us in the Big Ten race and preserved our chances of playing in a BCS game too (A loss to Iowa at home ended up effectively ending our Big Ten chances and we would've went to a BCS game but a rigged OPI call in the Ohio State game took that away from us).

Not trying to talk trash but I just don't see it. The final score should be something like Michigan 31 PSU 13. I don't see how your offense is gonna move much vs our very solid defense, and I don't know if you guys have the defensive personnel to get the requisite pressure on Gardner to rattle him--and that is the KEY for you guys. Get Gardner rattled or else! cause when he's in his comfort zone he plays like the NFL prospect many scouts think he is. But get enough pressure on him and he's as rattled as a 2 year old without a pacifier, and then anyone can beat us (
literally anyone as I'm sure you know).
