As in psu tradition, I heard breneman might be converted from tight end to wide receiver

bdidd, i don't know why you can't just acknowledge that yes, everybody else hates us, understandably, and just let them hate us while you root for your team.

A handful of hacks on a poker website "hate us."

If they are gonna come in to this thread, I'm gonna give it back. Most cool posters have moved on.

I get that. I do think this thread should be reserved for PSU fans. My only point is we don't exactly have a leg to stand on. We're the bad guys and deservedly so. Nothing we say is going to make us right, and it'll just further the opinion that PSU fans don't give two ****s about the scandal and only care about football.

I have been over this about 100 times in the thread about the scandal. I'm not the bad guy. You shouldn't consider yourself to be either.

I didn't go to PSU. Just a fan of the football team. What happened was horrible. However, it isn't going to stop me from rooting for this team and coaching staff that had nothing to do with any of it.

No excuses for anyone, Joe P, the admins, no one. Just moving on.

I guess I would just prefer we talk about the football and let people hate us and ignore them. But I do see your side, I just wish you wouldn't keep the mudslinging going.

I can appreciate where you are coming from.

If you stick around and keep talking football, I'll try to ignore the trolling.

Unfortunately, I work retail, so I get to see them play maybe 3-4 times a year because I rarely get Saturdays off. I only caught the end of the game this week because I had a conveniently timed lunch.

also, i don't have cable or dvr.

Some things I can't forgive.

I mean, I already had my issues with the university unrelated to sports. This just piles onto it.

They're just wasting paper by sending me letters to donate or join the Alumni Association. Thankfully I've moved to China so I don't receive those annoying calls to donate to PSU.

I turned on my TV tonight and watched a news story obliterate the state of Pennsylvania from orbit.

If no one responds, I'll just assume everyone's dead.

Aaron Fisher was 14 when he finally came forward in 2008 to allege that Jerry Sandusky had been abusing him since he was 11. Fisher is the boy from Clinton County whose initial allegation prompted the grand jury investigation that eventually led to all the other victims.

Sandusky was convicted this past June of 45 counts of sexual abuse against 10 boys, but he wasn't arrested until three years after Fisher first went to authorities. The attorney general's office told him it wanted to know if there were more victims before making an arrest, and Fisher despaired over the delay, according to details from an interview he did that is scheduled to air tonight on ABC's 20/20.

''I thought maybe it would be easier to take myself out of the equation,'' he told ABC. ''Let somebody else deal with it.''

Sexual abuse victims typically don't identify themselves publicly, and news organizations typically comply in keeping their identities private. But Fisher, now 18, has chosen to tell his story. In the weeks after Sandusky's arrest, it was reported that Fisher had to withdraw from school, and that officials at his high school were initially unwilling to believe him. Fisher's mother, Dawn Daniels, has also been interviewed by 20/20, and a book by Fisher, Daniels, and Fisher's psychologist is slated to be published soon.
