We're Michigan fans. This is an Ohio State thread, LDO. I live in Columbus and would like to plant a bomb under the Shoe. How's that for negative?

anyway, what's gonna happen with Jordan Hicks

Hicks probably to UT. Hoping for Henderson, but not optimistic.

Dear mjw0586,

I did not apply to UM. I would never go there. I don't even like being in the state of Michigan.

Sincerely,

donniccolo

actually, this blatant honesty moved you up a notch in my book. that puts you at notch 1.

i can appreciate that the gloves are off and at least we know where the other is coming from.

at least now i don't feel the slightest bit of regret pointing out how bad UM is and how OSU has won 6 in a row. who am i kidding... i didn't feel bad before.

cheers,

donniccolo

maybe we can actually talk about something pro-active instead of messing w/ the jealous haters.

TC/lamp - what are your realistic expectations for 2010? what are your feelings about the RB position? defense should be solid, but i feel that the O still has major holes. i think the 6 months TP is currently in (Jan-June) will be the biggest "growth spurt" of his career (hopefully). to me he has a lot of talent but is still very raw - i think his junior year could be a major breakthru----or a major fail.

no matter what, i'll always dislike pryor over his stupid mike vick eyeware.

say pryor kills it this year and bails for the NFL... where is the program in 2011? do we even have another QB on the roster ? ;-)

2010 - minimum win Big 10 outright. I'll probably be disappointed if we lose at all, but can understand dropping a game @ Wisconsin or @ Iowa. Schedule is pretty favorable. This is the best chance to make a run for a while I think. 2011 is always possible, especially since Michigan is way down, and PSU is slightly down, so home games against Wisconsin and Iowa are more important. @ Miami would be interesting to start out 2011.

Offense has a lot fewer holes than D right now. Everyone is back. Pryor made huge steps, line looks improved, we have some great HBs, WRs. I would like to see Martin and Hall get more touches. This is definitely the year to see where Pyror goes. He made great progress against Oregon, although maybe it was just LOLPac-10 defenses. He needs protection to excel. I think he'll still have a few rough spots at the beginning of the year, but will finally start to really shine by the end of the year.

Defense might be a bit shaky to start, but I'm not terribly worried.

Pryor isn't going anywhere in 2011.

Taylor Graham is coming next year. We also have Guiton already in. I'll worry about them in 2012. Who knows what to expect from them. My guess is Graham takes over in 2012.

Not sure the Pryor hate. Yeah, it was dumb, but I've noticed a pretty big improvement in his attitude and keeping things under control since then. Tressel is pretty good at fixing that kind of stuff except for the absolute worst cases (Small, for example).

Not terribly surprising. At least it's a position we are pretty stacked. I really want Henderson, but I'm not terribly optimistic there.

I agree with this. With Penn State losing their QB and Michigan still down in the dumps, and the fact that tOSU gets both these teams at home, these two games amount to automatic wins for the Buckeyes. So basically all tOSU has to do is split the tough @WIS & @IOWA games and they're in the Rose Bowl.

On another note, if their #1 rival (Michigan) continues the recruiting trend of loading up on 3 star athletes, Ohio State should be expected to beat them 7 out of 10 times going forward. This is a great time to be an Ohio State fan imo.

Are you ten years old?

On a serious note though, i expect BB to screw up something. I think if pryor plays the way he did in the RB our defense will get shredded. Our defense is very porous and so many people here have unrealistic expectation going into next year.

why are you so confident he won't bail for the NFL? say OSU runs the table and he makes a Heisman run... ? i don't think either of these things will happen or that he'll bail...but it is a possibility imo.

you are right about the hate - he has gotten way better since then. hopefully he goes the Troy Smith route of getting in "trouble" once and then becoming a leader and a "get it" guy. (i also wouldn't mind if he followed Troy's Heisman/Natl Championship footsteps other than the actual Nat Champ game ;-)

this is very reasonable. i'm guessing you do not like Rich Rod? personally, I thought it was stupid to fire Llyod Carr...

my first thought if Columbus was nuked would be to chuckle. my second would to chuckle again because the radiation cloud would be the undoing of west virginia. only then would i consider anything else.

what's that signature on mgb? 'if nazi germany played osu, i'd root for nazi germany'?

that.

haha..yarly.

i've gone to a friend's cousin's (who has become my friend over the years) house for the last 5 or so um/osu games.

we always lose the game. i always win the ****-talking.

i can't even imagine what will happen when we actually win one.

hehe you guys aren't half bad ;-)

the "michigan sucks" in the beginning of the thread is simply my customary "michigan sucks." you know what i'm talking about. its like your customary "nuke columbus." i figured you wouldn't consider that a "call out" considering its just a customary "eff you" between rivals ;-)

that osu vs nazi thing is pretty funny. i'm going to steal that. thx.
