we were trying to figure that out in the indians thread actually..

i think i googled 'cleveland indians 80 x 80' and it was on page 9 or something? but pecota thinks it's an alternate columbus clippers logo or something.

just found it again, and it's listed under 'cleveland indians' on some random avatar site, so who knows?

pretty sweet though, i'd buy a hat.

heh..never thought about searching for that, that'd be pretty good too.

though they are awwwwful (like, they've scored a total of 1 run in the 3 games i've been to this year) and i only go on $1 beer nights and usually end up actually watching about 5 at-bats all game.

Catch him while you can. I wonder how many classes he can pass without people doing all his work for him.

On a serious note, it's good to see he appears to have really gotten his crap together. Hopefully he learned from his mistakes and is willing to make something of his life. It's just a damn shame he had to waste so much talent.

agreed.

some of the most amazing things i've ever seen in any sport at any level happened watching him in high school.

haha this made me lol.

obv i hope osu goes 12-0 but i'm not expecting it like 99% of everyone else in cbus. i keep telling my friends i'm worried that marshall beats us down because the team might not be focused considering how everyone is on their nizzles. the standard reply is that if that happens, it will somehow be my fault and that they will have the right to beat me over it. grr.

28 days!

I'm much more interested in the divisional split. That is going to piss off a lot of people. I really think they split up OSU and UM and have to move The Game.

Thoughts on when you would like OSU vs UM played if not the last game of the season? I kind of like the first or second game.

They were talking about this on 1460 today and I was surprised that most people weren't really upset about the possibility of it not being the last game. I hate the idea of playing The Game early. Playing early has the potential to lesson The Game's importance. I like going into the Ohio State game knowing exactly what's at stake, whether it's bowl eligibility, a Big Ten Championship, or a spot in the MNC.

X-Posted from main NCAA Thread:

Top 10 Buckeye Moments of the 2000s:

10) Pryor Pwns Wisconsin
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShFMIxi3xVo

The first time Pryor really took a game away from someone. Hopefully the first of many.

9) Dorsey gets handled by Cie Grant
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGQYgyOOP2s

A bit anti-climatic, but a huge play to win the title has to be on the top 10. I had seats in the end zone, never felt so many highs and lows in one day.

8) Will Allen Interception to clinch 13-0 season
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b00JmN_BwXU

This game was the first to keep Michigan from screwing us out of a perfect season in decades. I had seats at the other end of the stadium and when the ball didn't hit the ground, I thought it might have been caught by Michigan. Absolute madness at the 'Shoe.

7) Jim Tressel introduced as head coach with "The Promise"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT_xK...eature=related

Another event I was fortunate enough to witness. We were glad Cooper was gone. But bringing in a guy we had never even heard of 24 hours before was the right choice? Why not a proven winner like Glen Mason, or a Buckeye Hero like Spielman. This guy had never even coached in the big time! He won me over that night along with the rest of Buckeye Country.

6) 2001 Ohio State - Michigan game - Wells scores putting up 14-0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT_xK...eature=related
I couldn't find any great plays since this game wasn't too close, but this game was a huge statement. Michigan always seemed unbeatable to me. We had come off two crappy seasons in a row for my first two years at Ohio State with two losses against Michigan. We weren't any good, and Michigan was quite good that season. It was a road game. We had no chance. Wait, Cooper is gone. We CAN WIN THIS GAME!

5) Jake Ballard's amazing grab against Oregon
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tq541U98rlk

Things were looking bleak. Pryor almost goes down, escapes, and throws it to the.... tight end??? An amazing grab in coverage. Ballard needs more balls thrown his way this year.

4) Maurice Clarett Strips sean Taylor after his INT

http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xc/813...2D494BE18FD046

The Miami game was a series of ups and downs. I was on pins and needles the whole game. We look like we are going to put the game out of reach when Sean Taylor picks off Krenzel. Then he starts off to the races. Oh no, a pick-6! But Clarett chases him down, AND THE BALL IS LOOSE!

3) The Catch

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOuEH2XP31A

Michigan might beat us again, ugh. Troy Smith somehow evades defenders, lobs the ball up, and Gonzalez takes it in.

2) HOLY BUCKEYE!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=julW9Eroqcw

Typical Big 10 game, no one scored any TDs yet. 3rd and 14, 2:26 left at the 50. Krenzel hits a 13 yard pass and gets it to 4th and 1. Clarett was injured, but still it's just one yard. Easy decision to run up the middle. Jim Tressel is Mr. Conservative. My roommates and I were watching the game in our apartment. So nervous. Just run the ball up the middle and get a yard. Krenzel drops back? WTF? We instantly panic. The ball goes up in the air and all 3 of us jump into the air. OMG, WTF IS GOING ON?!?!!!! TOUCHDOWN JENKINS! We all go nuts and start hugging each other.

1) There's a FLAG!!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFpTkYMLzdc

I never felt good about this game, even as we had a decent lead. Miami was just too strong. I went to the game thinking we had maybe a 10% chance to win. I wanted to just have a good time. Once it gets to overtime, I know we are in trouble. First it's 4th and 14, and we somehow convert. Then it comes down to this. INCOMPLETE PASS. We are on the opposite end zone. The fireworks go off. Miami's players and coaches storm the field. Confetti drops. The 200 Miami fans in the stand go nuts. My friends all look dejected. Then I see it. That's not confetti. That's a flag! THERE's A FLAG!!! Pass interference is announced and we all rejoice. We have come back from the dead.

Am I missing anything else?

End zone pick against Cincy in the final minute.
Gamble's pick six vs Penn State.

I remember that Cincy game very closely, but didn't remember the exact plays. I think that was the first game Gamble went both ways and really dominated.

I can't even remember ANYTHING about that PSU game, even though I was there. My brain is totally fried trying to think about it.

That whole season could have made a top 10 list. I need a DVD box set of the entire season. I think it caused me to lose 5 years of my life.

The PSU game was just like the 2008 PSU game. There probably weren't 400 yards of offense. Gamble's pick six early in the second half put you ahead for good.
