The sick part is, it's actually way worse that that, at least to me. We were gifted the 2011 win by that bs tattoo scandal, and unsurprisingly we still almost choked that away. That win will always have a huge asterisk by it. I'm sure you guys don't mind what now looks like an annoying epic streak breaker given that you got Urban out of the deal. Either way, the last time we legit beat you guys was--as you already know--2003. I can barely remember who I was back then. I don't know how many days that's been, and don't care to figure it out. We really needed to get that 2pt conversion in 2013. That one hurt a bit. Last years game hurt the most tho, given that we were the better team, but the blatant ref riggage the whole game was too much to overcome.

As it should be though - the season for both teams comes down to THE GAME. Welcome back.

What in the ****ing **** is this bull****? OSU Mich is often billed as the greatest rivalry in American sports and never left outside of the top 5 and these people act like it barely exists. **** the **** off. Sickening disrespect and ignorance imo.

Honestly, it does barely exist and it's our fault for sucking forever.

So is this team better with haskins? Sure seems like it. Haskins looks like a big guy that can make throws. Had great touch on those passes and hit the guy in stride. And had that strike. Barrett does not do that very often.

Seems like Haskins was a pretty decently regarded recruit so he has some talent.

And further, if Barrett is dinged up and not fully able to use his running ability, then how is it even a question?

Think Barrett will be at least 95% by Saturday. Sample is too small to know anything for sure. Barrett has a wide range of outcomes, which makes evaluating him so difficult. All in all, I'm not sure what the better option is. Hell, Tate Martell might be the best given his pedigree.

2 things

Urban has always said that Haskins was the most accomplished passer he has ever seen in HS. Dude can spin it.

Secondly TJ got injured - aggravated an existing injujy - during pregame by a camera man. Probably wearing blue.

Oh yea- ho humm. Another year another win in the big house. Should be a sloberknocker in Indy next week.

Urban is a douche. If you were so worried about his injury why 15 first half carries?

Because that's the foundation of our entire ****ing offense?

Hey numbnuts - He was pissed about how it happened. He has unyielding respect for JT so if JT says he can go with a tweaked knee Urbs will let him go.

Now go away troll a thread where someone cares about your views...

Urban loves him. He has all the intangibles. Teammates will follow him. Just not sure who he beats out. If the HS commit stays on board it will be a totally stud filled QB room. Good problem to have I guess.

ya, according the recruiting sites they got a ton of talent at qb. tate, haskins, and burrow all grade at good to elite. gotta figure at least one of those guys transfers, tho burrow has already been there 3 years.

and rivals says they got the 2nd best dual threat qb coming in next year.

Agreed - hard to see all of them staying. The recruit will probably flip to Bama though. If he stays committed I would think Tate either leaves or changes positions. OSU has a couple other QB recruits that aren't as highly ranked waiting to see if that happens.

If after the OU loss you would have told me we had a chance for a playoff berth I would have thought it was wishful thinking. After the Iowa loss had you said we would be BIG TEN champs I would have thought you were ****ing crazy. But after three very nice wins to end the season - and a chance to play USC in a bowl game - there is no way to think this was anything other than a very good season. God, 2018 looks scary good.

Yeah, offense should be unreal next season. Defense always seems to be very good at minimum

Jobbed out of >20% natty equity by the voters though. They are slow to realize the gap that existed a few years ago between the Big Ten and SEC isn't there now. Like in 2014 Sagarin had the SEC as 9 points better but in 2017 it has the Big Ten as 1 point better.

A lot of people have mentioned the solution as playing cupcakes out of conference, but I think another lesson learned is you can't lose big. i.e. It might be better to sacrifice a chance at a win if you can lose by 10 instead of 30. Because humans.
