Those guys helped make me some money in the bowl games against OSU and LSU. Don't knock them.

DeadMoney,

I wouldn't read too much into that stat. All of Nevada's drives either resulted in turnovers or punts. Plus about a third of those yards gained by Nevada were in garbage time. Overall, I say a pretty solid performance.

Here is a question for you: Would you be happy for a split over the next two games (Mich/Mich St.)? Or are you hoping to take both games? I know that Michigan is greatly improved from last year. However, Mich St. has been a giant thorn in the side of ND. If you had to choose one team to beat, who would it be?

The D playe well in some parts like 3rd down and the red zone but not in others. An interviewer asked RRod about how Nevada was able to run big yards up the gaping middle and Rod slipped by the question like a blocked ND tackle. I'm more worried about what the game plan is because I doubt the Michigans and USC will suddenly freeze up on the key plays. We do have a very young Dline.

If we had to split, 95% of the time I'd say beat state because I can't stand how they play us miles better than big10. But this year it's UM because losing in A^2 could blow up our season whereas losing to St at home is well rehearsed.

I'd drop them both if it meant we stomp Southern Cal.

I like this discussion.
I would think beating Michigan is more important if both MSU and Michigan are equal in strength. Seems to me that the Michigan game has a bigger national spotlight and a bigger impact on recruiting.

This is a huge recruiting weekend for Michigan for a lot of different reasons.

I too was concerned by the gay respect being shown bewtween Irish and Wolfies. This is time for trash talk, now that we both know that we're once again going to be good teams that win national titles or appear in Rose Bowls.

As long as UM's a contender I always root for OSU

Well I root for whichever state was less irritating that year. Needless to say when I was living in Ohio I actually bought Michigan clothing so I could wear it that day.

Amen!!

Clearly dreamland is winning our next three games, being unbeaten for the USC game, wearing green jersies, and coming from three touchdowns behind in the third quarter to win with a last second two point attempt 43 - 42.

Religious bigotry ban imo. Or at least take it over RGT where that type of stuff is encouraged.

They're starting to believe. Thank God, I was going to have to give a pep talk to M fans so they would start talking trash again.

I'll give them another one after the game, but this is the last year. If they get sour and fire RR then it's good for ND in the long run.
