And shaft 3 conferences with a 1. Bama 2. Uga 3. ND ...? fuggedaboudit.

There’s an outside chance we will own 3 Power 5 conference champion scalps by season’s end in USC, Sparty, and Miami.

IMO teams should be penalized "playoff ranking points" for playing FCS schools. Its absurd. Outside of Bama playing Mercer, Clemson plays the Citadel on the same day in the heart of the playoff race. Complete bull****. I don't care how hard their schedule or conference is. No FBS team should be allowed to play an FCS team... especially in late November.

Yes that was late night barstool wisdom after the game where some primarily NFL guy was bellowing that Boise St doesn't have to get up week in and out. I asked why couldn't the SEC play them in place of Coastal Carolina and got: Why would they play Boise when they already have to play an SEC schedule

Well that was brutal. Second best in every facet of the game.

very painful end to the season

wouldn't be surprised by a loss to navy at this point, that was a kick in the groin

Could we actually have been drugged? And can I have some of it today please? I feel like a load of Michigan.

This is still a season to celebrate. Anytime it's November and you still control your playoff destiny you had a good year. Only real bad thing about that game is it's gonna be the opening montage in the next "The U" doc.

We need to get UW into the playoff again so then maybe Petersen will listen when we tell him we can get him the necessary talent.

We’re the most mentally fragile team in the country. This season reminds me of ‘02: Lose a game (Miami this year, BC then) and the wheels fall completely off.

Don't think they were good enough at the end of the day. We didn't think they would be good enough to start the season though the position they worked themselves into fooled us into thinking they might have been the real deal. I think 9 - 3 is something we'd all have been delighted with a year ago. Hopefully the likes of Wimbush, Adams and St.Brown all come back and we avoid some sort of summer eligibility scandal...

Opener next year will be a huge game and probably tell us a lot.

Would have preferred the 9-3 to come with a stronger finish. As it stands we’re limping into the Bowl game.

Seeing projections of the Camping World Bowl vs a Big 12 opponent—perhaps Iowa State.

Really ugly, flawed game. But it’s ultimately nicer to win than to lose. A true shame we ran out of gas in the month of November. Losing two AA OL and key pieces of the defense leaves a lot of question marks heading into next season.

And Beat Michigan.

It seemed everyone had bad footing. I thought they had all sorts of cleats for that but maybe not. Other than that and the wobbily qbs, I thought the rest of the positions played very well. Especially the defense, they were right on the scene.

Next yr could be a bit like 2016 with the missing linemen and returning qb controversy {and you know BK will keep it a competition through fall practice}.
