Agree with this but whats troubling to me is that teams like Clemson and Oklahoma are still ranked in front of Notre Dame when their losses were way worse than ND's. Oklahoma was a 30 point favorite and Clemson a 24 point favorite when they lost. Notre Dame was only a 5 point favorite and lost to a team who is currently ranked third (in both polls). Iowa State and Syracuse are nowhere close to being ranked let alone in the top 3. Even Washington is still in front of Notre Dame after their horrible loss to Arizona State. Doesn't make much sense.

Was that not the best cheeseburger weekend ever? 5 undefeateds fell. +3 in the polls. Our power opponents went something like 6-1 with nose holding victories by USC & Miami.

There haven't been many 1993s since 1993 but the default play is always that ND will get screwed if it is at all possible.

You're ND. Not TCU. 1 loss and youre always in. Your nightmare scheduling is the only thing holding you back besides the fact that you guys usually suck.

Washington proved last year that scheduling creampuffs and not losing 2 games is the best path to success. All this talk about strength of schedules is on the same level as Russians rigging the election. It's bull****. Period.

If this were the case they would be ranked higher now than they currently are. ND has a tough schedule and one loss against the third ranked team but teams like Washington and Oklahoma who have easier schedules and losses against far superior opponents are ranked ahead.
