I'm not a bookie and I don't play one on TV. I don't even bet on sports. All I can do is guess at what the line will be. I've seen 2.5 Notre Dame games and 1.5 Stanford games. I've been very impressed with Stanford on both sides of the ball and I have no idea if ND can stop them. And while ND has been good on offense, they have been up against two (or maybe three, dunno about Purdue) of the worst defenses in the LOL Big Ten. I expected the oddsmakers to be more impressed with Stanford's complete dismantling of UCLA and Wake than they were. So be it.

I did find it interesting that the line opened at Stanford -2.5 and was up to Stanford -5 as of yesterday. A lot of action coming in on the Irish?

I'd too am inteterested to hear our resident touts take on Stan@ND. I suspect that a lot of ND's problems are self-inflicted, such as wide open WRs missed and those random fumbles where Floyd keeps getting unlucky. I'd need someone else to do the math on it.
