I got bested by the UM thread, I just couldn't process broad amounts of recruiting and football data to figure out if RRod cares about defense. Maybe he should give Mouton a big hug next time.

Meanwhile it's sick how things change. Stanford was an auto-win in 08 and now it seems we need to get lucky to get with in a TD at home. I wonder if Harbaugh will want to punch his own ticket elsewhere in CFB or to the NFL.

I'm going to leave it as a riddle to you to figure out why.

The hint below is a dead give away, hope you don't need to use it.

Spoiler:
has something to do with the start date of the thread

I probably forgot, regardless I should have remembered though.

No need to pile on about him posting it.

I'm not a bookie and I don't play one on TV. I don't even bet on sports. All I can do is guess at what the line will be. I've seen 2.5 Notre Dame games and 1.5 Stanford games. I've been very impressed with Stanford on both sides of the ball and I have no idea if ND can stop them. And while ND has been good on offense, they have been up against two (or maybe three, dunno about Purdue) of the worst defenses in the LOL Big Ten. I expected the oddsmakers to be more impressed with Stanford's complete dismantling of UCLA and Wake than they were. So be it.

I did find it interesting that the line opened at Stanford -2.5 and was up to Stanford -5 as of yesterday. A lot of action coming in on the Irish?

On a completely unrelated note, does Michael Floyd leave after this year? He is a junior, right?

I'd too am inteterested to hear our resident touts take on Stan@ND. I suspect that a lot of ND's problems are self-inflicted, such as wide open WRs missed and those random fumbles where Floyd keeps getting unlucky. I'd need someone else to do the math on it.

It's been suspected that Floyd might leave of course. Maybe BK can convince him to stay a year to remove the myth of being 'fumble prone'

The Sagarin predictor has it at 7, for whatever that is worth.

Just watching the teams play, I thought it would be close to a touchdown. I think ND is gonna come out ready to put up the fight of their lives, but it won't be enough.

Guess it became old hat losing to Navy in South Bend and they wanted to try Ireland for a change.

There is incompetence. And I do think refs get paid.

Terrible TV angle on the 4th down, but it looked like he barely made it past the line of scrimmage. Cost them the ball on the 30.

The other should have been offsides + personal foul. Instead they lose 7 yrds and a down.

Love it.

Nice to know the progress we made on pass D was actually because we weren't playing good teams. I would have never guessed that Stanford can pass for 15 yards at will.
