can you explain why he's out (I guess it was a bad call, but I still don't understand the rule)

i think the yankee analysts are off saying it is a bad call. you can't possibly tell from their camera angle. the umpire, the runner and the SS are the only 3 people that can possibly see that. they have no depth perception from their flat angle.

when he goes back to first, since he touched 2nd he needs to retouch 2nd to run back. he failed to retouch 2nd and is thus out on appeal.

Not so sure about that. The side of his foot might've been touching the bag, but we can't really tell from the camera angle.

EDIT: Rereading that, I think you're saying that this is the line of thought of the umpires, which is correct. Also, you did say that you can't tell from the camera angle, so we agree on that as well.

well im not sure about it either, but that's why the ump called him out. it's impossible to tell from the camera angles either way, so i guess we need to trust the ump here.

Should have started the inning with Coke you damn fool. What does Veras have to do to prove to Joe that he sucks?

I do not get Girardis love obsession with Veras.

At least when Torre overused a reliever he was good.

The good news is Bruney could be back on Tuesday. Hopefully that means the end of Veras.

Three posts in a row by annata? Wonder what I'm missing. Probably nothing but babble.

EDIT: And now they appear to have disappeared... hmm. Hopefully that means he's banned for awhile too.
