I just saw that Girardi pinch ran for ARod in the ninth. Does it ever cross his mind that the game could go into extra innings? It used to drive me insane when Torre did that with Giambi and we'd end up with Enrique Wilson or someone like that hitting in a huge spot in the 11th. Doing it with ARod is even worse. Is Pena even faster than ARod? He's never stolen more than eight bases at any level of professional baseball.

Any chance the Yankees can call up Montero and stick him in left? I know he's a catcher, but doesn't he suck at it? With the infield being what it is, he can probably only make the team playing the outfield.
