The best part is Gehrig really looks like he's daydreaming.

disagree, the best part is that it looks like nutshot is literally in the clouds, and the thought cloud is just a frame

Would you please project how many runs above replacement Gardner, Damon and Manny will be batting and fielding?

Last edited by jtg51; 03-17-2010 at 05:04 AM. Reason: Trick question - Manny and Damon won't be above replacement fielding.

Get over Damon. Seriously. He was on the team for 4 years. It's not like Jeter or Rivera leaving.

Id like to bet they all have a net over Gardner...

Besides they need depth even if Gardner was better or equal (he isn't )

You know the Yankees didn't replace Damon with Gardner right?

chone thinks damon, ramirez and gardner will all have pretty similar war if they get around the same number of plate appearances, although i believe that is dependent on gardner mostly playing cf. his defense shouldn't be nearly as valuable as a corner of.

? they replaced damon with nobody and bumped gardner up a spot... they need more depth... and they already have two guys that can play cf... and their starting left fielders value decreases because he isn't playing cf...

anyway i jus said ramirez off the top of my head, damon just seemed like obvious choice and still don't get what happened

LOL. Have you ever heard of a guy named Curtis Granderson?

Melky Damon for granderson.... To have your worst two position players in LF and RF and have no depth and your the Yankees = don't let your corner outfielder walk... It's a silly unnecessary hole that I would bet they trade for during the season at some point

wanted to to project what should be available near the deadline

They need one long term anyway (corner outfielder) .... Maybe trade for someone with a few years left that's slighlty over paid on a team that's tankin... I dunno really only follow yanks.... They. Gonna be lookin at Carl Crawford in the offseason
so *** it this year and just wait ?

Is it harder to play corner OF than center OF?

Not sure what level you're on here, but in case you are on level 0, it's called center field in America...and no it's not harder to play a corner spot.

PS lol thakid
