catcher's interference

massively blown call at 2nd

and a ground ball finds a hole

terrible way to give up a run

...And a run scores thanks to the umpire. What should be a 1 run lead is a 2 run lead. Oh well. I'm off to get sloshed.

great blame the umpire when they piss away a 6 run lead, cant score with the bases loaded and no outs yesterday when lopez couldnt throw a strike and they blow a 9th
inning lead

Dear Lord we're good at giving up 12-13 runs per game this season.

Phil Hughes is on his way back into the Yankees’ rotation.

Hughes, 22, is the likely replacement for Chien-Ming Wang, who was placed on the disabled list with hip weakness after Friday’s game.

“Hughesie’s been throwing the ball really well,” manager Joe Girardi said. “I’m excited about the reports on his starts.”

Hughes has been lights-out for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, going 3-0 with a 1.86 ERA in three starts. He has struck out 19 and walked three in 191/3 innings and last pitched Wednesday.

Yes, because obviously I can't be angry at both and must choose between one or the other. ****in moron.

The Yankees are down 18-1. Obviously I'm not gonna be as pissed in that situation as opposed to if it was 18-17 and the same umpire error occurred. But just because we blew a lead doesn't make up for the fact the umpire blew a call badly in a close game.

And yea, I was pissed through alot of that rollercoaster of a game yesterday. That doesn't mean I can't be pissed at a bad call either, though.

Furthermore, I don't go into the Red Sox thread and talk ****. Team threads are obviously a place where fans can vent. He can piss off with his "good point".

oook.

for full disclosure, ill get on umps for blatant blown calls on the bases, but im not going to nit pick strikes and balls unless they are having a horrible zone one day and clearing favoring one team over the other.

Things that watching a baseball game leads you to do, rather than reading what you're supposed to be reading...

Google Joe Morgan's steal % versus lefties versus righties per steal opportunity:

vs RHP: .213 SB and .051 CS
vs LHP: .149 SB and .033 CS

within a somewhat interesting article:
