hes thrown 100 pitches and we have no off days for like the next week, why waste hughes when we have a 4 games series this weekend?

he's 23 with an injury history and has never thrown more than what, 108 pitches in a game? seems stupid to do it in a game where they could probably stick swisher on the mound again and win.

that's fine. they can be cautious, since everyone knows it's not a big deal. but this has been a relatively easy outing for him. no long innings. good control (for a 1.4 whip pitcher). if they were going to stretch him a bit, this is the game to do it.

Why do you keep bringing up stretching him out? Stretch him out for what? Do you think the Yankees should be getting Joba ready to throw 140 pitches or something? They're probably only going to let him throw 40 more innings this year anyway.

Also, Bruney really sucks. I hope he's the one to go instead of Melancon when Marte is ready to come back.
