anatta is a jerkoff but he at least has his stream of consciousness gimmick...which is awful, but whatever.
you, on the other hand...lol. you bring nothing to the table. you're like that awkward guy in a group of friends (lol at you having friends, so you might not get this) who makes terrible jokes and people are generally embarrassed to be around, but they know you since they were a kid so they have no choice but to have you hanging around like a leech. you pretty much personify why everyone outside of MASS hates red sox fans. congrats on being a skinny white irish dude who drinks beer and makes fun of the yankees payroll. we get it.
to conclude, i'll be obnoxious as well! 26 world series, 39 pennants, 1st place currently. lick my nuts.
Wow, lol, nutshot you have me down to a tee, how the **** did you do that?
Except, I'm 6' 3", 250, Italian, drink wine, and have tons of friends. But I do enjoy trash talking at Yankee fans including my boss and my best friend. And they have never told me to lick their nuts, lol. But they do occasionally mention the 26 World Series.
LOL MIKE FRANCESA JUST SAID THAT BUCHHOLZ IS OUTPITCHING JOBA THIS YEAR... HE'S PITCHING TO A 3.6 ERA. THE CALLER JUST SAID "WHAT, IN 2 STARTS?" MIKE SAYS YES BUT HE'S PITCHING BETTER THAN HIM
Has anybody else besides me been really annoyed at the YES radar gun. For the last few games the thing doesn't seem to be able to register a pitch below 90 or so MPH. It was annoying as hell watching Rich Hill's 65MPH slow as **** slurve registering at 93. The fastballs seem to be registering correctly but who knows if it can't get the other pitches right. And then today in the later innings they just turned the F'in thing off.
I know it's not that big of a deal but seeing what speeds pitchers are throwing is really interesting to me to see how hard they are throwing that day and the speed differential on their pitches. It also helps me decipher what pitch was thrown since Kay almost never has a freakin clue.
I mean, it's not that difficult a technology. Somebody sits behind the plate with a radar gun, plugs the gun into a computer, and bam. Wrong for 1 game fine, but it's been like a week, and the things seems to go on the fritz all the time.
/pointless rant.
ive noticed this occasionally on a few broadcasts (in addition to the yankees) even mlb tv a couple times i think. sliders/changeups registering the same speed as fastballs for whatever reason

how can you stand to listen to that. francesa is just a troll.
fair enough. i used to watch a few minutes of francesa's show like this every day. i figured you were listening to it on the radio willingly, which is like wtf
Why you couldn't go wire to wire and win 115 or so games with a $200,000,000 payroll I thought was a fair question that I don't remember ever mentioning before but maybe as Roger would say I'm misremembering. Anyway, I didn't think it would get anybody that upset, in fact figured it would be ignored. So I guess I must have struck a nerve.
Anyway, if you don't win it all, as you haven't for the last several years, would be an epic fail, that's all I'm saying. I'll try and stay out of your thread but sometimes I can't help myself since our thread is pretty ho hum as the guys aren't as uptight as we've won it twice recently.
yeah i mean that's a perfect question. if the yankees spent $20 million more why can't they win 300 games in a season. and naturally their world series win % should be at 175%, or it's a huge failure.

Unless you've been living under a rock this past decade you've heard the payroll brought up 10003420343204230402r042340230420 times. So regardless of whether you've said it before, it's been beaten to death.

Read baseball between the numbers or STFU. Playoffs is basically luck, the only thing you can do is get there and then hope for the best.
