Maybe Im a stuck up Jays fan use to half of our bullpen with an era under 3 last few years, but in my books decent relievers should have under 3 era with 50ip+
well in the yankees books - they have a terrible defense. second, the yankees were third in the majors in bullpen WXRL (Win Expectation Above Replacement). yes, no joba hurts somewhat, but no latroy hawkins, billy traber, and kyle farnsworth helps. the yankees have several solid arms, and if those guys screw up, there's 5 more guys who can take their place. what hurts a lot more is a lack of consistent offensive production from center field.
