There was a pre-game clip yesterday of Swisher covering Gatorade towels all over Nady while sitting on the bench with Joba looking on and smiles all around. Seems like they're getting along well with having to share RF starts.

Gardner needs to start hitting those fat first pitch fastballs down the pipe so he doesn't have to chase when he's behind.

He's making much better contact than last year but until he starts hitting those first gimme pitches he'll always be behind in the count and that's gonna prevent him from succeeding.
