...Stanton gets the day off and not for nothing the fact that he's only missed 2 games this year is amazing. Hechavarria was traded at the last minute for a bag of balls...no bat but has a decent glove. Between that trade and getting McCutch + everything before July I gotta give Cashman a A+ for doing the best he could to shore up the roster. Hopefully it'll be enough.

...I legit hate this matchup for C.C. having to go cross-country to da East Bay...very important series for the team and wish there was a day off in between, or at the very least make it a 7:00 PST game...MLB scheduling at times can be incredibly unforgiving.

Small tidbit back in 94 @ Irving Plaza i committed a cardinal sin at a show and crowd surfed onto the stage just as they finished playing I believe Killboy Powerhead. I got up, no music on, and Dexter looked right at me at and was like sup dude, wtf you doin here, and I was like whas up play something lets keep this **** going and I jumped back in to avoid any further embarresment, crowd cheered, and then they went into So Alone....good times!
