This announcer not really paying attention. Has made three mistakes, and I havent even been paying attention the whole time myself to his broadcast, just what I caught. Bases loaded when it was only 1st and 2nd, then says a ball and a strike when I can clearly hear the ump call it a strike on TV without looking up, and then one time he didnt even know who was up to bat. You're payed to be an announcer for a nationally televised program, at least try and keep up with the rest of us.

Joba getting hurt could be the best thing that happened to this team since it lead to MO gracing D-ROB with "I see him as a closer" and since then the dude has had the touch of god.

having Joba > stroking Robertson's ego I think but I am happy he's been great

Hey, does anyone know if Pedroia jumps before every pitch? I wonder why the announcers aren't talking about it. Seems really interesting.

he jumps before every pitch so he can see over the infield grass.

So I'm eating a delicious potato roll sandwich after Mo gives up the lead, thinking back to a clip of Mike Francesa. (The clip was about Mike talking with a fan about how good the hamburger roll was at CitiField [after he had his first hamburger there, I believe]. Mike just couldn't believe how good the roll was and wanted to know what special bread they use to make it [apparently Mike had never been introduced to the potato roll up until this time]).

Anyway, I was trying to find that clip and was unable to do so; however, I was able to find this gem while searching for it. For all those that hadn't heard it yet, enjoy.

What's annoying is they showed the jeter line out to demonstrate it, and it was clear pedroia was late because he was in the air when jeter made contact

It's always such a weird feeling when Mariano blows a game. If it had been Soriano or Logan or someone else I'd be furious. With Him I just think, Eh, can't win 'em all.

Garcias did as I expected. the guys a player

honestly, I dont see how you DONT start NOVA in the playoffs if he continues to be on fire. better cahnce with him on the mound than Burnett and maybe Hughes pending on where he is at

Does AJ even start a playoff game? I kinda hope not but man no matter how good they've been I'll never actually think Freddy and Bartolo are actually okay. Bring back Andy for the playoffs imo.
