Joba sitting 92-95 touching 97. I was worried after his last outing of 89-92.

The best part of Tercet's ramblings about Joba is that he claims the "Joba as a starter" people base their decision on him having a 95 mph fastball. He uses this talking point all the time, and hilariously he was the one saying Joba should be in the pen because he had lost velocity on his fastball.

Shocked they haven't talked about Joba to the bullpen yet. Pretty sure I jinxed them not talking about it by saying that.

Steve Phillips: "He's been a very ordinary starter. He's extraordinary in the bullpen. But as a starter he's only ordinary."

Muting the TV before I throw a brick through it.

Orel making Steve Phillips look like an idiot now. GO OREL!!!

Haha Phillips criticizing Choo because he got a base hit. "It's not good baseball, you need to get a double and get to 2nd there. Now you need 2 singles to score him."

I'll stop now.

BTW, on MLB Tonight Verducci said Jason Kendall is the last guy a pitcher wants to face with the bases loaded.

really don't have a problem when you bunt for a base hit, especially when a guy has had filthy stuff that night

edit - or are you talking about jeter's bunt? I still don't really mind bunting for a base hit, although I'd rather see him swing away.
