Whoever you are, puh-leeze.

350 posts. LOOOLOLOL.

Son, search the now-locked derailed thread about William and Mary diploma in OOT if you're not familiar with it yet (which I'm sure you are, btw).

I wasn't born yesterday. Now go get your ****ing shinebox.

meh if the rays ran away with the division thatd be 1 thing

but it was pretty much even the entire way, the yanks even had .5 game lead with 2 to play for them (rays only had 1 left) and girardi basically punted the 1st game putting it in the rays hands

i agree that the postseason is pretty lolsss but the yankees were probably marginally the better team this year (+166 rd to +153)

I pretty much agree, but it's cool that we were able to put this top 3 team together, given the circumstances. The yankees might win 120 games next year with the free agent classes coming up. must be nice.

o/u 87.5 wins for the rays next year (if you had to bet now)

i'd flip it... i like having andy available for game 3 vs lee, especially if it's 1-1 or 2-0 down

also andy in game 7 >> phil in game 7

<------------------Confirmed Gimmick

On Francesa earlier a bunch of people were calling in with the idea to pitch Burnett game 3 vs. Lee. What do you guys think? Francesa thinks it's ******ed because then he'd have to pitch twice. Is Hughes incapable of pitching on 3 days rest if needed? It seems to me that there's this principal thought if you're under the age of 27 or over the age of 34 pitching on 3 days rest is impossible. I feel like Hughes should be able to do it if we need him to, and if the plan goes well we may not. Every other start in the series will be from a starter on full rest, and you get to gamble vs. their best.

AJ in Game 3 is a tremendous idea if they're willing to pitch CC in 4 and 7 on short rest each time. That leaves Pettitte in 2 and 6 on regular rest and Phily in Game 5.

I bet Girardi is at least thinking about that option since AJ's simulated game was today. That puts him on regular rest for Game 3.

I really like the idea of AJ vs Lee. If bad AJ shows up they're losing no matter who he's matched up with. If good AJ makes a miraculous appearance, he gives them as good a chance as anyone vs Clifford.

I don't particularly like the idea of spotting Texas a game in a best of seven, but it could be argued putting AJ out there is exactly that, no matter the opposing pitcher.
