I think the Mets would have def considered ramirez if they knew they were gonna be able to keep 8 million of his salary lol.

you really have no idea how to take anything in context do you?

shef is never going to be a starter here, hes a good power bat off the bench and has a very solid obp. all of this for the league minimum

lol this is TOTALLY the first thing I thought when he got suspended and everyone was saying "Boy, the Mets must be glad they didn't get Manny!"

Saving 1/3 of his salary, but still having him for the stretch run and the playoffs?? Makes me even more disappointed we didn't do it.
