Don't do that. More sanity needed here.

What I do is try to avoid reading here when things get too ugly (though that's been especially difficult recently).

All we need is a little sweep of Philly to set the universe right.

On the other hand, losing another series...

mets need a strech where they win like 16 out of 20 or something with maine perez pelfrey pitching consistently, hitting with RISP, solid bullpen work with david wright gettin like 2-3 game winning hits in that span. that will set the universe right.

It feels like forever since we blew both those games.

I will be back tomorrow night watching the Mets play the filthies and hoping for best out of Big Pelf.

This team is what it is, and I just have to deal with it.

We don't need to sweep. 2 out of 3 would be great. Losing the series would be painful but also not the end of the world.

I have nothing against the human being Aaron Heilman. I mean, it must have been hard to play in new york and be hated like he was, I felt bad for him at times. But with that said, I really hate Aaron Heilman the baseball player. He really became one of my least favorite Mets ever after having been one of my favorites when he first came up, fairly or unfairly due.

Edit: Does that make sense? Meh...if not I blame it on me taking my last undergraduate final ever in an hour and a half.

i feel numb to this team right now. of course all it will take is 1 win for me to get excited, and make the subsequent losses more painful again

Thanks. Only a few more nights of living in Phillies country. But I'm definitely not ready for the real world considering I don't even have any prospects for a job, haha.
