From metsblog:
In a post to his blog,
Bobby’s Way, Bobby Valentine said yesterday he will not return to manage the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan next season.
According to the Associated Press, Lotte
management had decided before the season that it could not afford Valentine and would not renew his contract.

this will be interesting… the way i understand it, Omar Minaya and Jerry Manuel are tied to the hip… in short, if omar is ever fired, the new GM will hold jerry’s future in his hand… but, under no circumstance will minaya be firing jerry… so, to wish for bobby may be premature… that said, should the Mets
be looking to a new team, build around youth, speed and strategic, aggressive baseball, bobby would be the way to go… say what you will about him, but the man knew his baseball… in fact, i think he thinks he invented the game – and, as a fan, i like that…

i bet bobby’s blog post perked up the ears of the Nationals…
Wow this is Matt Cerone saying this ... that there is no way possible for Omar to fire Jerry? Really?
Not that Jerry has to go per se, but this fact still annoys me
i think i have really had it with Omar
BRING BACK BOBBY V!!!
