FOX has an exclusive window for all Saturday games taking place prior to 7 pm, meaning only FOX and the local channel can broadcast during that window.
Meanwhile, the Marlins scheduled this Saturday’s game against the Mets for 6 pm, one hour early, to accommodate a post-game concert by Flo Rida.
In other words, from 6 pm to 7 pm on Saturday, the Mets-Marlins game will not be broadcast on SNY; thanks to FOX, MLB, the Marlins, and, apparently, Flo Rida.
The minute the clock strikes 7 pm, SNY will begin broadcasting from whatever inning the Mets and Marlins are in.

Reason: from metsblog ldo
I saw Flo Rida in Panama City Florida last year during spring break. It was him and Lupe Fiasco. He spent the whole concert taking off shirt after shirt and finally when he had taken off about 6 shirts, he stood with his back to the crowd and just pointed at the "Flo Rida" tattoo he had on his back. It was like the ultimate display of a tool in the history of concerts.
I hated him then, now I despise his soul for the fact that Saturday night I was going to be home and could watch the Mets in HD for the first time this year...now its an hour later.
i wonder if it could just be broadcast on a tape delay so at 7pm the game will just be starting at 6pm but limit the commercials so maybe it will catch up in the later innings?
i mean how much money can SNY be making from commercial revenue showing the same 3 commercials over and over for companies that look like scams
Ok, I don't know if this is sad or not, but I've officially seen more Nationals games than I have Mets games this year(and I guess Marlins too). This is now the 3rd day in a row in which I have the Nats-Marlins game on. Bahhh.
In the 6th inning, how does Wright gt waived home with one out and Beltran coming up on a line drive to left? if the throw is even close to on line it beat him there by 2 steps.
0-2 for third base coach on making the right call with Wright running.
