Do they have Outback Cheese Fries like The Rays have?

I'm CONCERNED about Ollie, but booing in preseason should be off the table.

And...there's the dark side of Ollie. The new park looks nice on TV. It's on MLB network for those of you out of town Mets fans.

Eh...its still preseason, though that is worrisome. Just good to see them on TV in the new stadium.

I'm liking the new mlb.tv player, except they need to hide spoilers for those watching it delayed. supposedly they're working on this...

Yea, the new player is nice and the delayed viewing is a new feature among others.

stadium was awesome except for the fact that because of the odd shapes and small foul territories, there are lots of blind spots in many of the seats

I've got tickets in one game in the RF Upper Deck, I hope they arent obstructed. Is it even legal for them to not tell you that when you buy them?

How far out in rf? And it must be legal; they did it at Shea for 45 years.

I wonder why the Sox tell people some seats are obstructed but the Mets don't then?

24 hours. Woot! Too bad the weather report looks pretty craptastic for tomorrow. Hopefully the rain holds off enough to get the game in.

I could be wrong on this but I believe 'obstructed view' is when there is something in your sight line which directly impairs your ability to see the game; ie. a support beam or abutment:

This is different from a seat where the sight lines are crappy. The first game I went to at Petco we had seats in the Toyota Terrace which is the premium club level. The seats were down the right field line about half way up the section. From our seat we could not see the right field corner or quite a bit of right field actually. WTF! After attending quite a few games at Petco I can tell you there are very few seats where you can see the entire field. You might have to stand or crane your neck or just watch the replay on the scoreboard. The proximity of the stands to the field and the angles of the stands make it impossible to see 100% of the action. I imagine there may be similar problems at Citi. It is just one price to pay for a smaller, more intimate ball park.

are the obstructed seats cheaper?

obstructed view can also mean that a portion of the field isn't viewable from your seat. i.e. if you can't see the left field corner because of your relative position down the 3rd base line, etc.

the examples from fenway are truly a disgrace though.

Good thing we cheaped out and signed Ollie instead of going hard after Lowe.

since the RF deck goes over the field, things in the RF corner might not be seen from your seats. also, it might be a little tough to see the diamondvisionlike scoreboard since it is in LF

i think the RF upper deck is probably a good place to watch the game from

actually everything really is ..... the blind spots suck but overall i think all the seats are pretty good

I know, I don't have to remind myself either (but I choose to). I too was very heavy in the Lowe camp and thought it was a horrible downgrade to think Ollie was a comparable fallback.

Since this is the 1pm ESPN game are chances better than 50/50 that they get this game in despite the snowy/rainy forecast?
