1st bobby bonilla mets career is underrated

2nd they offered to defer the 5 million they owed him for 20 years or whatever so yes they still pay him, but that was a good deal for the mets, and anyone who doesnt think so doesnt understand economics at all

Money wise the Bonilla deal was neutral.

But it definitely was not a good deal for the Mets. I don't have any legit source or anything but I bet the Mets took that deferred money and gave it to Madoff.
