Amare out till Monday apparently.

After Lakers, we play 7 games in a row against sub .500 teams, 5 at MSG with 5 off days built in (7 games in 12 days ain't bad)

Then hopefully Melo returns in time for us to play @Heat on Feb 23.

With Baron Davis coming off the bench (hopefully), we're gonna be one of the best teams after all star break.

All assuming Linsanity continues of course.

Yeah the schedule gets really really soft after the lakers game. They might be able to get to like 18-18. I still don't think it's far fetched that the knicks can win 38.

Lin at 1 (Shumpert and Davis backup)
Shumper at 2 (Douglas backup, basically when Lin's not playing)
Anthony at 3
Amare at 4
Chandler at 5

Jeffries, Landry, Walker, Harrelson and Novak to fill out the bench.

That's how I hope the Knicks roster shapes up for the second half of the season.

Starting Friday, we got 9 games in 14 days, only two against .500+ teams (Lakers and Heat). If we can somehow get out of that stretch 6-3 or even 7-2, we'll be right at the .500 mark.

With Davis, Anthony and Amare back, if Lin stays good, we should be poised to actually make a run for something that's not quite as sad as the 8th seed.

Right now, shump and fields basically same player (shump is more athletic) so they are really interchangeable. shump probably hoists up too many threes recklessly but whatever.
