also i feel like a tool cuz of the 4 sports teams i root for the knicks are my least favorite(ainec....mets, jets rangers knicks in that order fwiw), i only go to 1 game a year and i only watch a little more than half the games on tv...but there no way im not gna put on my amare jersey and get into this game....

That game was fun and I think this team will be elite on offense once they get going. They're definitely no threat at all with this current rotation though. They need a backup big immediately.

Carmelo Anthony's Knicks debut drew the highest rating for a regular-season game on MSG network since Michael Jordan's famed "double-nickel" game 16 years ago.

The Knicks said their 114-108 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday earned a 6.75 household rating, easily topping the previous high this season, a 3.61 for the Boston Celtics' visit Dec. 15.

It was MSG's highest-rated Knicks telecast in the regular season since Jordan's first return to Madison Square Garden after his first retirement, when he scored 55 points in a Chicago victory.

The Knicks are averaging a 1.62 rating through 52 games, a 60 percent increase over the 1.01 at this time last season.

Yeah, but bench is even thiner now and rebounding even weaker. I remember back in 90s, people were bitching that if instead of Oak we had a scoring option we'd win a title or two. I feel like with Oak type of player we would be real contenders now.

The bench is even weaker now is ******ed people who make that argument really don't watch the Knicks. D'Antoni has used a 7 man rotation like all season and only moved to an 8 man rotation when Williams showed he could hit the 3. Jesus Christ. It's not like he was going 9-10 deep into his bench every night ffs.

Mozgov played over 50 minutes in 2 of the 5 months this season. I didn't want to trade him either but can we stop pretending like he has been good solid rotation minutes all season.
