Yea, I think it's been known for quite some time that he wants to play for the Knicks. We could clear out the cap space but our team would be D-Will, Amare, Melo and D-leaguers.

Isiah is currently the head coach at Florida International University, I don't understand how this is going on. Isn't this against the same rules that prohibited him from being an official consultant for the Knicks in the first place? Shouldn't the coach and or players at FIU be outraged that instead of doing the job he is being paid for, he is negotiating trades in the NBA? FIU coincidentally is in last place in their conference.

You need to read the Isiah pressers after their games. He goes well our two best players have been hurt all season and we can't make free throws. Maybe things would be different if that were not the case.

Mark Stein just tweeted that Melo to Knicks appears imminent.

Edit - Frank Isola of Daily News just tweeted that a source tells him that the deal includes Mozgov

It feels like Knicks gave up a lot but if you think about it not all that much. We couldn't sign Chandler anyway, Feltot evens out with Billups ( i like Billups more) , Gallo+ Mozgov<<<<<Melo and who cares about picks anyway...I am a bit bummed about Chandler but i think i'll get over it.

I get that it was stupid to give chandler horford-type money and that we wouldn't likely sign him, but oh man. this is a lot to give up...Too early to tell about the picks (our 1st round I mean), but we'll see. We had leverage too...

Eddy Curry is going to be a monster for a decade in the middle, who cares about dealing 1st round picks? We'll be in the playoffs every year.

And on and on. How has this org. not learned. I'll watch occasionally but this team, unless it gets CP3/Deron/HGH in 2012 has lost me.
