Sexy win. We can talk about the Knicks' positives all day but I'm an extremely negative person so I will touch on the negatives:

Chris Bosh didn't play and it was a home win. Gorgeous defense on LeBron for the vast majority of the game but towards the end they just gave him tons of space in the open floor and once you let him charge and do his battering ram routine that's when he is his most deadly. Nobody wanted to close out James Jones for, oh I don't know, THE WHOLE GAME. And DWade had a great performance that you can't put too much of the blame on the D because he just went off. Joel Anthony is Amar'e's (I love how that's grammatically correct btw) kryptonite too.

Haha but seriously that was a solid win. I'm a big Gallo hater but I will acknowledge he hit some big shots and actually took it to the rack like a man today. Interesting how D'Antoni went with Shawne Williams in crunch time over Wil Chandler. Kind of scary how Wil disappeared a little. He is not given nearly enough credit when he's playing at the top of his game, but then he does this sometimes and they're going to need him consistently if they want to win a playoff series. Toney Douglas's shoulder is clearly bothering him because his shooting motion was really erratic. And finally Landry Fields showed yet again why he is my favorite player in the NBA.

I expected the Knicks to get smoked tonight.

That Hawks game was kind of dreadful to watch. It didn't seem like either team came out with a ton of fire. Wil Chandler's metaphorical absence in the Miami game was explained by his physical one in this from a strained quad. Hopefully he's better soon. However, I will say that it's admirable that this team keeps fighting to the end and that Ray Felton is a true gamer. Shawne Williams is really starting to mesh now too; it's amazing to think they almost took Ewing Jr. over him.

Shawne Williams can actually play a bit of defense from time to time which is refreshing.
