I don't like giving up the 2016 1st rounder if that comes to pass.

But with Carmelo, Amar'e, Chandler and Bargnani all coming off the books at the same time in 2015, that gives us some huge rebuilding flexibility because the only contracts remaining (assuming Novak gets included in the Bargnani trade) is felton at 4.5 and Iman at 3.8 mil. Those two are solid contracts and here are the potential 2015 free agents (some have player options)

I know the Wages of Wins guys get no respect around here but I like their stuff and I agree with them that the Knicks are gonna be pretty bad this year. Bargs has been just about the worst player in the league for several years now by their metrics. Chandler and Kidd were great through most of last season and that's what got us 54 wins last year. Kidd's gone and Chandler definitely was missing a step when he came back from his injury last year. If he's not 100% I won't be surprised if we miss the playoffs. Hope they prove me wrong.

lol, they have carmelo anthony. they are not missing the playoffs. You want to argue they are maybe a 5 seed next year and not a 2 seed OK, but they are not going to be a 34 win team

Yikes.

Cliffs: 35 wins, 27% chance to make playoffs. Bargs is looking to get starter minutes and he really is just about the worst player in the league. Melo isn't actually good. Chandler is their only star and he looked bad in the playoffs after his late-season neck injury. This could get ugly.
