Okay, I think we need a nickname for the Knicks' 2nd unit. Any suggestions?
Speaking of nicknames, Landry Fields + Jeremy Lin + Tyson Chandler is now called "The Smart Crew".
The trio of Lin, Fields, and Chandler were introduced under their new moniker, “The Smart Crew” (or as Lasky said from time-to-time, “The Smart Triangle”), and in unison, they each donned a matching pair of dark-framed “nerd” glasses. When asked how he gained membership in “Smart Crew,” Chandler’s response drew laughs from the audience. “Well, we’ve got Harvard, Stanford, and Dominguez [High School in Compton, California].”
Most importantly, they appear to have wonderful team chemistry and they convincingly expressed their commitment to winning.
I just came up with a nickname for the Knicks bench.
Jeremy Lin and Steve Novak literally were "replacements" as they were passed over by many NBA teams. And it's kind of ironic, as the Knicks bench aren't comprised of mere "replacements", they're damn good players.
and yes I know there's a football movie with the same name, starring Keanu Reeves, which I am a big fan of.
Edit: Wow just came across this song. It's crazy delicious:

Reason: Doin' the Landry
Lin needs to get back to attacking the paint, dribbling the ball and avoiding the trap with constant PNRs. He's spending a whole lot of time just waiting for the open man instead of creating space for the open man.
Maybe all the cheap shots are finally getting to him but he's just gotta get back to his attack mode.
I can't stand when D'antoni sits THE ENTIRE BENCH AT THE SAME TIME and the best scorer we have out there is Iman Shumpert.
You want to teach this guy to stop taking jumpshots?? How about don't let him be the only guy on the court not afraid to shoot the ****ing ball with a man in front of him.
Where does he expect to get offense from? Yesterday Walt was taking about the team becoming too perimeter happy and not driving to the basket. Yea no ****ing **** we have Baron Davis, Iman Shumpert, JR Smith, Steve Novak, and Harrellson on the floor.
