What do you think the honest % chance is of LeBron coming? Do they have to have a very disappointing finish again next year? Would a Cavs championship this year have been preferable for Knicks fans?
Unless you know the LBJ personally, I don't think you can make a reasonable estimate of whether Cleveland winning a championship increases or decreases his chances of leaving. I hear people say "Cleveland doesn't win a championship -> Cleveland isn't getting the LBJ enough help -> the LBJ will get pissed and leave." How do you now know it's not: Cleveland doesn't win a championship -> the LBJ wants to wins one for his home town team -> the LBJ stays?
Portland is basically the only team still interested in Lee, and are looking to sign and trade Outlaw + Blake for him. If this happens, it means no Grant Hill for us.
Today's NYT had a fairly favorable article about Grant Hill, suggesting he may actually be interested in coming to the Knicks.
My first reaction to getting him was "wtf for?" On the other hand, I've always been a Hill fan and, if somehow this could be done with making just a negligible effect on the cap situation, then I would not be opposed.

I don't understand. Why are the knick's looking at signing well known players? Aren't we trying to shed as much room as possible? Shouldn't we be signing league min scrubs?
Or are these guys down on their luck enough to sign for league min?
