Not watching the game, but wtf is going on with our rebounding? Last I checked it was 47-23 Cavs...are we just getting completely outhustled or something?

i dont care who plays, you cannot tell me you are really angry Landry Fields got his minutes slashed. He brings almost nothing to the table anymore.

Seriously, it can be rust and all that, but I really believe Amare is gonna screw this team hard in the playoffs. His D wasn't the end of the world when he actually had offensive ability, but now, i wouldnt be mad if you called him the worst defensive player in the history of organized sports.

It's hard for a 23 yo to develop and find a rhythm when his minutes are messed with as much as Woodson has messed with them. And he's certainly still bringing good D and rebounding for a wing. He's a decent finisher, doesn't turn it over a lot. Basically he does things and isn't really bad at anything besides perimeter shooting. He may be underachieving lately, but pulling his minutes in favor of players with no upside in the future and who don't bring anything to the table in the present like Toney Douglas, Mike Bibby, Josh Harrelson is a huge mistake.

I'm glad I didn't watch most of the game on Friday, it was pathetic getting out hustled and out rebounded like that. Woodson said it was "unacceptable, completely unacceptable."

I would hope they threw that game on purpose, but I'm not so sure.

Regarding Fields, he does do things that are good, like attacking the rim and he can be a big athletic body guarding a wing for spurts of minutes. However, his shot technique is beyond horrible - his shot produces a ****ing line drive nearly every time.

Whoever he worked with to develop that shot should be fired and barred from working with another NBA player ever again. There's serious basketball physics why a normal arcing shot is superior to a line drive. Fields went to Stanford and is supposedly really smart, how does he not know this? Why doesn't his genius buddy Lin point that out to him?

Maybe he doesn't want to change anything drastically until he has proper time to work on it in the off-season, but ffs just shoot with more arc, it can't hurt.

Perhaps second most important result of the day, after the scoring collaboration between Melo (39 points, 10 rebounds) and Amar'e (22 points, 12 rebounds), is the revelation by Landry Fields (7-for-8, 18 points) that he's been working with Allan Houston on his shooting and game preparation. H20 helped Iman Shumpert's J earlier this season. #shotdoctor
I knew Shump had worked on his jumper but I didn't know he had worked with Allan Houston!
